I would love for them both to come we would be an immeasurably better team.Far better than taking a punt on cheaper foreign players that are gambles at best.

Guess very difficult to convince German players leave their homeland, especially when you throw in the fact that we are not a CL club now

I think we're more attractive than some fans think. TV deal wages, state of the art training ground, London; just some of the amenities I'm sure players will consider as opposed to solely CL football.

That being said, agreed I can understand it would be very difficult for a player to give up CL football, even for a season.

A guy I know played with McCarthy when he was at Hamilton and he raved about him, said he was absolutely mustard, best player he'd ever seen up close, great attitude, hard worker, good trainer and was destined to have a massive future. Said that Real Madrid, Bayern, Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs all watched him pretty regularly at Hamilton (where he debuted at 15).

For a young player to keep his feet on the ground with all that hulaballoo around him, move to the Premier League and take to it like a duck to water speaks volumes to me. Went to Wigan first, no doubt because he wanted to play...that also says something about the guy in my opinion, even the Everton move was a smart progression in his career. I do hope we're the next step for him, he seems to have been on our radar for a loooong time.

Over 300 professional appearances and 27 International caps in his career at the ripe old age of 24 is a staggering statistic even in today's game.

And whilst we view the Europa League as a pain in the arse it's viewed very differently on the continent

Don't know why you are getting spammed for this. It's a racing certainty we will have a zero net spend again this year. If anyone wants a bet on that I'd gladly take it on

Because it's nothing to do with ITK, and is just another example of his fucking boring petulance. No surprise you'd side with him though.

Edit - and there to make it the full trio of awful posters is Francis Gibbs. Good going Francis, I'm sure you lot are related.

He was an ITK on here called Akqayid, who despite getting some good info via agents was always premature with talking info unfortunately...

An example being the infamous...

Falcao....

goodnight!

He wasn't just premature with info, he came out with outright lies. Like saying how Gio was looking really good in training, when Gio was actually in Mexico with the national team at the time.

He was a wum who seemingly spent his weekends self-medicating then basking in the attention he'd receive on Twitter.

I would of hoped that now the school holidays have kicked in, they wouldn't be on here so much.
