United, Arse and City are busy trying to land the likes of Pogba,Vidal, Schweinsteiger, Gundogan, Wishire (City) and Carvalho. Schneiderlin is the backup plan.

Just transfers in general. He said we have nothing to worry about regarding transfers (people were envious of Liverpool so far) and he said that we will be improving the starting 11. Like I said, far from groundbreaking, but just a nice bit of reassurance

That's why we should get it done now, before the targets of those clubs fall through. Having said that, he is likely to be hanging on to see what they do and if that's the case then let's move on. Cba with hanging around for months then bring in a cheap alternative that we'll be looking to sell for years to come

Why would anyone be telling Porkies? Someone is wrong that's all, either you or me. I can't remember aanyone beating the Goat to the punch that's all, porkies doesn't come into it.

We've (SC) had this conversation before and I think it was you A&C that dug up the posts from both parties. Goat came first by some distance, however even then some people argued that Goat expresses out interest first but Ghost of claimed done first or something.. Please everyone don't go through this conversation again, it's been done.

The fee paid for any player has to be what the buying club believe he is worth to them. So Schneiderlin may look expensive to those clubs in the CL as they can potentially buy better players for the same money Southampton are asking.

We don't have that luxury, we can't attract the very best talent because we're not in the CL and don't have unlimited funds, so have to accept the next tier down of players or gamble a little on unproven youngsters. If the club believe he is the best option available to strengthen us in that position, then it may well be better to pay a little over the odds of his perceived value, in order to get the best option for us.

If he is believed to be the best option, who'd benefit us the most, let's get this done!

Just looked, was just a 'yes FFS' reply to a question regarding signing players to improve the starting XI. No names mentioned. Followed shortly after with a winky face reply to the same tweet.

All started from a guy mentioning Liverpool's business and asking if we are worried about them. JJ said No (I assume because we are just focusing on our own affairs).

A&C accesses the Goats account and posts. However, who is in fact behind each bleat is unknown. It can be A&C him self, it can be even JJ, Trix, Grey Fox if they have some fishy info they don't want to be connected to their aliases, and lastly it can be people who do not have info on a regularly basis, but who comes a cross something and informs A&C.
In theory, the Goat can be me & you, and anyone yellow & blue.
I like the Goat.

Totally agree. If any of the current top four were interested in him he'd be long gone.

United have already stocked up with their priority signing in attack and i would guess are now looking to upgrade their back line whereas Brenda has spunked 30 million of the Sterling cash (yes his transfer has to be nailed on). Chel$ea are fixed and Arsenal won't be adding to the 42 million they spent on Dot Cotton anytime soon.

Aside from Europe where else would MS go, and who else in Europe outside a few clubs could afford him or actually need a player like him?
