Seriously? So much for the plan, if we are targeting Mahrez after three games of the season. Typical Spurs.... And now there is talk of Lamela going on loan. At this rate its going to be a very long season....

Mahrez played well for Leicester last season as well. Would certainly not just be based on these opening 3 games.

Could only see Bolasie, Mahrez or any other attacking midfielder come in if we get rid of Lamela.

Currently we have Pritchard, Eriksen, Lamela, Townsend, Clinton, Carroll, Chadli and bafflingly Dembele who can play there.

The guy who brought him in at Leicester was hired by us during last season.

£400k too, incredible work. Mahrez was the scalpel to Lamela's butter knife on Saturday. He was Robben-esque.

Can't see them selling him but worth putting a serious bid on the table to test the water. Could even offer them Townsend to buy/loan to replace him.

Chadli and Eriksen are very ineffective coming off the right. Don't know about N'jie and I think Pritchard would play off the left or in the middle.

So if Lamela goes, it would be Townsend, Dembele or possibly N'jie. Not convinced by our rhs at all.

I'm desperately hoping this could signal a last minute move for Yarmelenko, but I'm sure it's just wishful thinking on my part.

If Lamela does end up going, we should go all out for Yarmolenko.

Surprised we're not giving him one more season but interest/offers change things - and if its a good offer I can understand the Club considering it and of course Lamela has a big say in what he wants to do as well. He may not feel like its ever going to happen here - depends on his confidence levels.

He reminds me of Sanchez.

Only happy for Lamela to go if we bring in a quality RWF... Berahino doesn't fit the bill so needs to be him plus one other.

Yarmalenko would be my choice but IIRC ITK's said it's too difficult.

Exactly. If we let him go and then end up with Moses, it'll be a travesty.

Am i the only one on here that thinks Lamela has had more than enough chances.... he is nowhere near suited to this league

I'm a bit worried about this. Not just because I like Lamela, but mostly because we've sold a lot of players already. Is there enough time to replace him while we're also trying to get the other deals in place? The squad is starting to look thin if he goes too.
