We were also told yesterday in the Martial thread that we had money to burn and the stadium had no effect on things. I tend to believe that we cant spend until we pay off the stadium. Which is the right play for the financial health of the club.
Also, we've been told repeatedly that Sessegnon only comes in if we sell Rose

After Rose was injured, Davies came in and we went on that incredible run of 13 wins and 2 losses. Now I'm not saying all, if any, of those results are down to him but it shows we can manage without Rose. If AM is the one MP wants and the price is selling/swapping Rose, I'd say go for it.

It really says a lot about Pochettinos and the clubs status if Sancho, Barkley and Sessegnon all prefer to play for us when they can get significally more money at other, and right now, bigger clubs.

Poch just confirmed Gazzaniga doesn't count as one of his 4 in his presser. "A keeper + 4". Based on the list from Herc seems like the goal is Sanchez, RB (Aurier), RB (Mr. Barkley), and a forward. I still suspect Sancho and Foyth are considered youth players and not of the 4 even if they do get first team minutes.

Sanchon im not too worried about as he seems an unexpected opportunity to pounce due to the recent ongoings, if he has his heart on us then all good and additional bonus. Rb is crucial and glad things look positive on that and the calibre too(aathough dubious character)
The superb buy would be the signing that improves us i believe that extra little something rather than improve just squad, so i hope that one can be pulled off
Martial was a bit left field fantasy but if agents touting and giving hope then not much you can do , few days left feels a bit panicky but only a little but thats normal anyway

I think we shouldn't take Poch's comments literally.
It is possible that he is just trying to kerb expectations. If he did come out and say "4 more, not including GK or young players" then he's setting himself up badly in case we don't pull these off.
I think he's happy to say 3 as he is confident on Barkley, a RB and Foyth.
