Take him at Spurs? Undoubted ability but injuries and inconsistencies blighted career. The place is toxic. It is not a good environment for a youngster as it once was. That is not a bias statement. Our facilities are also far superior to theirs. 'Charmbalin' as Whinger calls him, has had enough. His dad wants him out. Not the same place it once was. 100% facts!

I would actually quite like Oxlade Chamberlain, he could still be a great player. The place is toxic. It is not a good environment for a youngster as it once was. That is not a bias statement. Don’t judge me
Don't unruin your day, things change all the timeDay unruined...
It's not just about being clever and saving a few quid. For example, Aurier wouldn't have been an option in July. Now he is and is clearly the best we could have gotten. I'd argue if it happens that was a transfer worth waiting 3 matches for.Pitty indeed, it might have meant that we won against the chavs by giving ourself the best possible chance ,having our dealings done in good time, after all the objective of Football is to win matches and have more points than your competitors come the end of the season. But we have to try and be too clever by half in negotiations. It is a recurring nightmare and imo embarrassing.
Just hope we have a suitable back up as Aurier looking very complicated. But I agree IF it happens then it would've been worth waiting as he's a very decent RB.It's not just about being clever and saving a few quid. This may have been our way of doing business in the past (I'm looking at you Stambouli), but the ITK has pretty consistently said that we have been focused on our top targets, with maybe one (Keita) being unattainable. Given our financial constraints and the absolute craziness with the transfer market, it looks like Levy and Poch were on the same page about identifying opportunity from the very beginning. We'll see how the dust settles in a week, but so far it looks like Levy and Poch are working hand in glove this window.Just hope we have a suitable back up as Aurier looking very complicated. Clubs identify targets a good 3-4 months before the window open but it seems levy more than anyone loves an 'opportunity', must be frustrating for poch, "buy me one of A B C for RB, 1 month into window, option E is available (Aurier), " ok sure to for him" 1 week left of the window,.. Aurier not happening but we can always get Watfords RB... zzzzz in poch we trust in levy for transfers who fucking knows.
I like your positivity I really hope more than anything this is the case no matter what the final outcome and that Levy has done his best to go for the players Poch really wants. Given how consistently well Poch has done for us this would make sense and this is the least he deserves. Sorry I disagree, It is all about being clever and saving a few pounds. The signing of Sissoko is a prime example of how it backfires, desperation signing and now unwanted by the best manager we have had in my thirty years of loving this club. It's not just about being clever and saving a few quid. I like it better that way.The fact that this post got even one 'Agree' is frankly terrifying.
Cliff Jones clearly lives in and across multiple universes. In the universe that I live in (where six days before the window closes uncertainty is everywhere), I do not know how the Mayweather-McGregor fight ends. I would very much appreciate to know how it will end before I head to the sportsbook.Even I appreciate the dynamics on deals, and with Aurier there's the legal stuff, and the PSG FFP aspect post-Naymar (I know enforcement is crap) to add to the usual aversion to bid and salary wars.
IF we do Burnley and get this over the line, after Sanchez, and perhaps Barkley too then Levy would come out of the window smelling of roses. Only a Hugo fack up away from a great start and only the perennial Kane risk not properly covered.
IF we don't win on Sunday, legal stuff sabotages Aurier and Everton do what West brom did on Berahino, Levy will look a twat- and not for the first time.
In some windows he prevails, in others he doesn't.
He bought Janssen, Sissoko and GKN just last summer, I'd love him to replace these with real quality, but given the stadium I think there's surely an element of him having to lie in the bed he made? He's paid a lot of money to carry the can after all.
