If it is true it shows we have at least 45M to improve our first XI this window.

Their overdue payables is a whopping 5mn mate. I would be livid if we needed to pay 5mn and sold Harry Kane to fund it.
Those are the payables that are due this month. God knows how much next month or the month after etc. Their only way to get money in before June is to sell someone now. Plus whoever they sell they'll want money to replace them after their debts are paid.

I do wonder if this actually is a bit of a smokescreen. We're in negotiations with another player (Dybala for instance) and we're waiting on another party to agree to our terms. So we make it known that we bid for an alternative, in order to put pressure on them.

I'd love to know who the other party is. As someone wrote above, someone from Juve would make sense, given they've found money from somewhere. And would have to be a really big player if we'd be willing to fund Juve in getting Conte's main target.

Thanks mate.

Had COVID. Daughter (now 13 months old) got it. In hospital with daughter. House purchase fell through at last minute. Sold our house anyway. Wife then in hospital with suspected sepsis but just horrific kidney infection. Had to take a week off my unbelievably time consuming job. That's my September for you since you asked.

But sure, was much more important to post on an internet forum about Spurs being shit in a transfer window.

Cheers.

Not the thread for it I know but I hope everyone is well on their way to recovery dude.

"Look you better accept our offer quick we've bid for Diaz"

"Says here they've rejected your offer"

"Look just sign the papers quick"

"Oh looks like they're now unwilling to negotiate"

Sounds to me like Porto are trying to flush out buyers for him.

I suspect Paratici has been tipped off that they might have to cash in. Of course the big question is whether we can afford the fee it'd take to get him.

Yes we missed out on Vlahovic but it was clear the club and player were open to an exit in January.
