Spurs Boss Harry Redknapp prepares shock move to bring Paul Scholes out of retirement. Redknapp and Scholes were spotted leaving a Manchester hotel together on SAturday evening. When quizzed on the matter, Redknapp admitted his admirmation for Scholes, saying he thought he was a triffic player, a great football man, and someone he'd like to have around the place.

We will make moves I am certain, and Levy will look to make at least one epic signing this window.

I do think I am incline to believe our first focus is trimming the squad though, we have so many players who are taking up spaces in the squad and draining resources with their wage whilst not really adding anything to us on the playing field anymore.

O'Hara out the door already, Bassong will surely move and maybe it seems PSG are going to sign Wilson.

Keane and Bently are the two I want us to shift most of the dead wood as I imagine they are on high wages and both seem like they will be difficult to move on (we will have to accept big losses on both)

Jenas is another one you would think is worth moving out and if we are willing to accept reasonable money someone will snap him up I am sure. Similar to Jenas is Hutton who could be moved on easily if we accept reasonable offers I feel (we just over paid in the first place)

Niko will be easy to sell and is not something we want to see happen but he seems to want away.

After that it may be a case of selling as we replace i.e. new striker in = sell Crouch/Defoe.

Anyone see GDS last night for Mexico? If he would just buckle down on the training ground we would have no need to be signing a right forward. Shame to see wasted potential but he obviously isn't cut out for the demands of the prem. Sure he will do well in Spain again. Why are people intent on ruining our day and stirring up trouble?!! Posting of negative "ITK" shouldn't be allowed as it then develops into articles on the web which then end up in the paper from "a source" and continue to unsettle the player which was probably the original intention.

New-ish to this forum so can someone let me know whether this piece of ITK is a WUM or more than likely correct re. Modric? No offence to the guy posting it, but as i said im new and no idea who is usually reliable and who isn't, cheers guys
