I'd imagine Bale would rather stay with us than go to Paris.
France is a beautiful country, the only problem is its full of French people
I'd imagine Bale would rather stay with us than go to Paris.
You're watching with your eyes closed unfortunately. Bale WAS our team last year and our 2 x 1-0 victories thanks to penalties have done nothing to paper over anything, they have been workmanlike, nothing more.
I'm sorry if you want to get all romantic about THFC, I'm sure if you cut yourself you would bleed blue blood like the rest of us blah blah blah, but Bale leaving is going to be monstrous. Bale can demand what he wants because he's one of the best players in the world. It's reality, as unfortunate as it might be.
Our 5 front men yesterday had only been playing together for a short amount of time and everyone including EVERYONE knows what we need to finish off the puzzle and make things tick better.
Workmanlike the way you have put it across sounds so negative and dirty. That wasn't what I took from it and a lot of others saw positives and are choosing to support that and the club with an upbeat attitude.
It's not romantic it's facts. Give them more than 180 mins and 2 clean sheets in the prem before you get so depressed about it.
Been out most of the day and just catching up with this thread..... What the hell is going on?!
Mata and Rooney... Seriously, behave.
Can't really comment on Pastore as I've barely seen him but Banega is a very good player.
And Bale is possibly reconsidering but AVB is not fussed and wants to move on regardless. Doesn't make any sense.
Lastly, I cannot believe some of you are happy to sell Bale to a PL club just to get an extra bit of dough or some players who would never come to us in a million years.
What the fuck?! Some of you need to have a word with yourselves. I urge you to think about it. Really think hard about it.
Bale is probably the best pkayer in the PL, in the top ten in the world, is 24 and is only going to get better. And you know what? He's our player with 3 years of his contract to run. We don't have to sell. .
Do you really want to see him tear it up for one of our PL rivals every week, possibly winning them the league, scoring goals against us?
Want to watch him on MOTD or live on Sky excelling for another team while everyone wanks themselves silly over him every week?
Successful clubs never willingly sell their best players to thier rivals. It is laughable to suggest we are outsiders to challenge at the top and contemplate selling to our rivals.
Fortunately, I doubt it would happen but I would be totally disgusted with the club if it did.
Sorry, rant over.
It's like any manager in any company, you have your best workers, and those who get the job done.
If your best leaves, you do your bit to try and keep them, but if you cannot promise what they want, you have to let go and mvoe on - dwelling on it has a negative effect on the team, job and everything that comes with it.
If your best person then decides they want to stay - great news to be honest, if not, then good luck kinda thing, best thing is to never burn bridges.
If anyone is worried about keeping an unhappy player, have a look at Rooney. He has worked his bollocks off for Man U so far.
For the love of God sign the papers first.Jay (ryantegan) @ryantegan46sBern told that all the details with Lamela are Done. When he arrives he just needs to do a medical and sign the papers. Negotiations done
