If our attacking signing is either Benteke or Origi then Levy has to go I really don't see the point of either of them we may as well just promote Harrison or something from the u23s I'd rather that than either of those sacks of shit.

"Levy has to go". K THEN.

What you've done there is not really read the information, make it up a bit, then get angry about it.

Good work.

No, but PSG do need to let players go to meet FFP, especially as they seem to be buying the boy from Monaco, although I expect they'll want more than Danny boy's prepared to pay.

Buying mbappe wont cause them a problem.

They are doing a deal to get round it, getting him on loan for this year and buying him next

Eriksen was decent in the 1st 2 games, but poor yesterday & the real issue is if he's not on his game we lack creativity, which is why I was I'd be quite happy to buy Mahrez, although that doesn't appear to be a goer.

A quick summary of yesterday's info....

2 confirmed incomings I am told. And it is not Foyth, as that would be obvious. Benteke anyone? He is not one confirmed.

Benteke inquiry, nothing else. Highly doubt it would happen for various reasons. Origi is not just paper talk, but no offer. We have an interest at the right price. Adds to one of the possibilities under right circumstances.

No panic so relax. Not even biting nails time. Btw, Poch wants actually 4 more!;)

ali z: All i can say is what I know we still want Barkley, Sancho has agreed to join us as has Foyth, Aurier last I heard looks like we got over line and should be announced next few days and Poch wants a fast wing/forward type but these have all been ongoing for weeks.
on lemar: forget that .

Aliz is on the money full 100!

Guys! Why when I say all is calm, and something happens you believe it is doom and gloom? Get with the program peeps. As it unfolds I share little titbits, good or bad:love:

So two confirmed incomings from Herc. One is probably Aurier. The other isn't Foyth and probably not Barkley.

Ali Z thinks Foyth, Sancho and Aurier have agreed to come. This is backed up by Herc.

We still want Barkley despite the possible injury. Previous info suggested that he's agreed terms and only wants to join us.

We're also looking for a fast wing forward.

It's not looking too bad for the last few days of the transfer window.

Well profit comes from net transfer spend really. The biggest costs of clubs like Chelsea, Utd, Liverpool and City are players - both transfer fees and wages. So net spend in transfers feeds directly into healthy club profits and also shows the banks a level of maturity in our approach to finances, I.e. We won't do a Leeds with our new stadium financing.
So I was trying hard not to go any further than what I said earlier because we have in reality gone over this earlier this summer. But there is one point that cannot be refuted enough times, in bold.

Tottenham can't "do a Leeds".

It is not possible. At all.

There is one big difference between Leeds, Wimbledon and today's Tottenham. The latter has assets to sell, should worse come to worse. The difference between the value of our players as recorded in the balance sheet and in terms of real, actual market value should we need to sell players tomorrow is so huge, that our singular most valuable player equates to the value of the entire squad as recorded in the balance sheet. Hence we can't "do a Leeds" even if we tried. Because the market value of our squad ensures the viability of the club even in a worst case scenario. And any junior banker will notice this.

How many times in recent years have fans of City, Arsenal, Pool etc watched MOTD and said "Kane/Eriksen/Dele/Toby etc are exactly what we need."? We've a sensational side full of top top players, don't lose your shit cos of an inevitably slow start. It'll come good, it always does with Poch.
Difference is we tried to sign Willian and Mane.
Chelsea stole Willian and we couldn't compete with Liverpool for Mane's wages
