Expecting at least 3 more ‘ins’ and few outs ?
Fantastic opportunities we see trying to take advantage of…(Rubbing hands in glee)

Oh yeh! Winks defo staying :smug:
Was told and said in here a week or so back that we were expecting 4 in. Sarr has joined so 3 more would tie in with what I was told.

No striker is utter madness. Kane gets injured, we are absolutely screwed. Vinicius was crucial in playing in cup games last year, who is going to pitch in for us this season?

It’s that mad. Neither Man City or Chelsea have recognised back up strikers and they’re expected to challenge for the title.

By the end of the 1st line i was ROCK HARD

By the end of the 2nd line i was pre-cumming

Half way through the 3rd line i was softer than soft scoop left out for an hour at midday on a hot summers day

They have Firminio and Jota, two proven goalscorers. It's completely different.

I am quite amazed people think having just two proven goalscorers is adequate for the whole season. On top of that, people are suggesting Son should be the first 11 left wing forward, but also then cover for Kane when he's injured / rested. Haha.

Firmino and Jota are ‘2 proven goalscorers’? Jota has never scored 10 goals in a PL season and Firmino hasn’t for 3 years. Every team bar City would be screwed without their two top goalscorers

Just shows that premium out-and-out strikers are like gold dust, it's almost impossible to have two in a squad that doesn't play with two strikers.

They have loads of goalscoring attackers/wingers though. Ziyech, Pulisic, Werner, Havertz, Mount as well as Lukaku. I think that is really strong and healthy.

City are lacking a striker for sure, but they won the league last season and were in the CL final. So they managed somehow, we finished 7th.

Getting serious 2014/2015 vibes from this window when we replaced the old guard and built a bright, young, and hungry new team.

Excited to see what the next few days has in store!

Sounds positive. Have to say I'm not overly bothered as to whether we sign Moriba or not but that's because I've never watched the guy so maybe I just wouldn't know what we'd be missing out on if we didn't sign him. I'm just happy that the centre of our midfield at least sounds like it will be addressed one way or another. Feel like I'd just be happy with someone who would provide a good level of creativity.

Oh come on. Jota only played 19 PL games last season and scored 9 goals. This season he has 2 in 2. You are being deliberately misleading there. Jota is a 1 in 2 goal scorer since he's been at Liverpool.

Our wingers (Moura and Berg) in comparison score 1 goal every 10 games.

So, I wonder what the turning point was re going from definitely getting at least 1 more striker, irrespective of Kane staying or not, to none. Nuno’s tactics of playing just one up front don’t negate the need for cover. Confidence in Scarlett & Son in that position?

The point I keep making is that, that would be ok if Son wasnt a regular. But because he plays every game that isnt "back-up". The back up to Kane is Scarlett. And I dont think a 17 year lad learning his trade is the correct back up for what we want to achieve.

Again, if Kane gets injured we burn out Sonny.

I’m not saying they aren’t better, simply pointing out Liverpool would be screwed without Salah and Mane. To be fair, you can’t take a 20 game sample and declare Jota a 1 in 2 scorer either. He’s not close to that over his career. I’m sure Lucas and Bergwijn would have scored more goals at Liverpool last year than at spurs too

I’m hoping although it will probably never happen again of another Van der Vaart type signing which comes out of nowhere!!
