FWIW-Absolutely nobody pays 100% cash upfront!!!
It is normally spread over duration of player’s contract. And in this case, exactly how Wolves structure their deals.

Yep, it matches up with player as assets being amortised over the course of their contract.

I’m sitting the fence with Traoré. Yes Nuno wants him! But cannot decipher with information I have who will be the winner in this one. My bet is it happens just about

What ever helps you sleep at night.

I'll sleep fine thanks.

I've no doubt Mendes is not the best to be dealing with and I don't really want Spurs getting to mixed up with him but In this instance I think the Mendes link is at the Wolves end. Nuno wants the player because what he can do on the pitch, Wolves could potentially sell him because Mendes wants to move his player. Any other club dealing with Wolves is in the same position whoever the manager or DoF is.

he made it pretty clear its just personal opinion though, but i guess he wouldnt want to claim anything itk after all the shit he got the other day

Did he, I didn’t see that bit. Not sure why he bothers posting. He’s facing a losing battle on there.

Interestingly enough, when I was looking for the 'oldest' post on every active forum, I found this, which sets the tone and makes me wonder what he's doing on there anyway.
It's like setting up a shop selling wetsuits in the desert

why do any of you care whether they are loans or not? esp. loan to buy obligation. not being near the industry, seems a good way to reduce risk (i'd expect there are some catastrophic clauses in the loan obligation and/or players must be signed if they make a number of appearances, which they'd hopefully only do [depends on what type of risk we're protecting] if they're good enough and challenging for a place in the size and quality of squad we have).
