Do you think Shanks would consider Kaka (former most expenisve player in the world) a signing that some might not consider a big one??

Kaka would arguably be the biggest signing the club has ever made, so when thing I am sure of is he is not the player Shanks was alluding to

Dont think the word arguably is needed there pal

Agree the Ms Spears one sounds like Rossi.

Raised by a cretin just a reference to Adebayor's early career at Arsenal?

I'm convinced they are the yellow AND blue pair (Villareal AND Italy; AND Togo AND City)

Then the two we don't already know about:

Gio's brother is called Jonathan - Jonathan Soriano, Jonathan Biabiany, Jonathan Legear, Jonathan Cristaldo, Jonathan Santiago?

No idea about the liberty one though.

Ok, point taken. I was just trying to tie up 2 pieces of ITK, so I could consider we might try to sign him...

And yet, there are some on here who wouldn't consider Kaka to be a big enough signing. Tell me I'm wrong.

Some might say he is not the player they want or who they think we need but I would be astounded if anyone could claim to believe he was not a big signing

I put it there in case the likes of Ossie were of similar world wide fame and staure at their time (as he was signed before my time I don't really know how it compares)

I know he was a world cup winning captain so thought some may argue in relative terms.

so that's:

Gary Cahill
Christian Eriksen
Rossi
Kaka.

2 from those would be immense

If we signed Kaka, regardless of where he would fit in, I would blow my load all over the frigging place!!!!!!!

True, I can't really compare either, but my word can you imagine if we signed Kaka! Isn't he on some astronomical wage though?

Kaka is on about £170k a week.

We are not signing him. I'm not ITK, I don't need to be. The above sentence is enough for me to know that.

I'd guess at blue and yellow being Italy and Brazil. So Rossi and Leandro as our 2 striker signings.

No chance in getting Kaka. He wouldn't join City and they would pay way way more than us. City were in a similar position to us at the time, so why anyone would be delusional enough to think he'd have a completely different mindset now I dont know. File this alongside Eto'o in the 'in our dreams' category.

As I continue to remind SCers one of Dan Levy's stated aims on taking over the Chairmanship of WHL was to bring a return to the days when we unveiled signings like Ardiles and Villa double transfer coup at the Lane.

They were up there, at the time, after the 1978 World Cup final in Argentina...but I would say Kaka would be bigger (not that I believe it for one second...:pray::pray:).
