How is it that football clubs are able to hold players to contact? Does this power apply to any other profession?
I personally was gutted to miss out on Rondon and Lambert. The irony lies in the 14th wealthiest club in the world, with one striker on the books, who is likely to play, trying to buy from a club that has 5. And two of them were signed recently.
They respond through leaks to the mediaNo response from Spurs yet if at all.
U read Hytners piece in the guardian? No response from Spurs yet if at all.
Wouldn't be surprised if The Guardian's article is our (un)official responseNo response from Spurs yet if at all.
Too right. We are a joke. I am really worried now. Same old same old trying to be too clever and it is coming back to bite BIG time. Where is the DM Poch so obliviously needs. I bet Mitchell is wondering why he joined .

I think it was straight from our press office personally.Yep I retweeted it about an hour ago.
It could easily have been though no insinuation of a "club source" within the article. Well written and argued though, which is basically what I've been saying all eve. This isnt over.I think it was straight from our press office personally.
Strange manNo one needs to sell. No one.
You don't get a better deal the later you leave it.
Teams are less likely to sell as they cannot get replacements.
It reeks of desperation.
We always do it.
You waste the first 5 games of the season without the team you want/need for the season.
ANGRYBOB!

Bulk...? Don't know how you get to those numbers. But It's effectively a free for all at the supermarket skid bin selling dented cans of beans for 20p and that pretty much sums up most of our dealings... all the pikies grabbing for bargains. Not thats what we needed, just what was on sale... GeniusRubbish. If that is the case then why does the bulk of all transfer activity take place towards the end of the window?
