It's clear he we will start in every game (league and cup) for the remainder of the season. I'm not sure any top flight player will have ended up starting more games.
Poch may say he is happy with his striking options, but he can't trust Son or Chadli too much to lead the line otherwise Kane surely wouldn't have started against the mighty Colchester.
And it's a world of dread and fearThrow your arms around Levy at transfer time.
Because Poch wouldn't want some 30-year-old here for 6 months when he has a long-term project to think about?
"And the greatest gift we'll get this year is... Torres."I hope we take a punt on Torres
That's a worryingly blinkered approach. It's effectively being shortsighted by only focusing on the long term plan to the detriment of the short term.Because Poch wouldn't want some 30-year-old here for 6 months when he has a long-term project to think about?

Nope. That doesn't sound right.
Exactly. He does have a long term project to think about. One that includes Harry Kane. Which is exactly why it would behoove him to welcome any recognized striker so we dont run Kane into the ground and ruin his development.Because Poch wouldn't want some 30-year-old here for 6 months when he has a long-term project to think about?
Maybe so. Listen, I am just trying to see things from Poch's point of view and in a sense I'm playing devil's advocate on this occasion. Personally, I wouldn't be against a short-term option if there was someone who fit the philosophy but this is not Poch's approach and we have to respect that. That's a worryingly blinkered approach. We really need to "twist" instead of "stick" this year.

Is this a serious post?I can't believe Palace managed to get an ex Madrid player on a free, why weren't we in for him? Btw anyone know his name?
