If what is planned comes off we could end up with:

Kramer
Berahino

and then maybe Werner.

Together with Toby, Wimmer. Trippier, Alli

While shifting Capoue, Paulinho, Holtby, Stambouli, Kaboul, Friedel, Khumalo, Ceballos off the wage bill, as well as probably Lennon, Ade and Chiriches.

Starts looking like a pretty astute window.

Though that could be jumping the gun very slightly given the hypotheticals.

It's more likely a case of other targets dropping off the list than Berahino suddenly flying up it.

If you have a negative outlook and assume the worst all the time, that is probably true.

But on the flip side it's equally likely that we didn't think a deal could be done, and now the goalposts have moved in our favour.

You literally have no idea which one it is. So by suggesting the negative version, you are only projecting your general thoughts on the subject, no? Maybe not. It's early and I need tea.

Glad to see we are pushing hard on our targets.

Personally I don't see us getting Kramer, although I guess we must have received some encouragement to still be actively pursuing him.

Agree with this

Pretty sure an ITK said we refuse to do business with Adie Ward, and now Berahino has sacked him we are prepared to do business now

What is good about all this is it seems we have options, and whether it is plan A or plan B they are all good strong options. Whatever combination of Berahino / Kramer / McCarthy / Werner and whoever else we have had ITK on, all will improve us and are players that I believe will improve themselves. I really want Berahino, exactly the type we need, Kramer or McCarthy would both improve us in an area we need (albeit Kramer with perhaps the higher ceiling) and Werner looks exciting.

All in all, if you can't see the positive you may as well do yourself a favour and end it all now.

If we want McCarthy we need to hurry up, Chelsea have upped Stones bid to £26m and Kenwright would be lynched from a flagpole by Everton fans if he sells his 2 star players, Stones goes first then forget McCarthy, get it done Levy

I know we don't need him but can we go for Stones instead?

Dier and Stones: England's Future.

I hope he doesn't go to Chelsea.

Aidy Ward would have seen him pushed down the list for a start.

Both Chelsea and City want him, he is already way out of our reach.

I know but I'm forever the optimist.

I hope he goes to City instead of Chelsea. They seem a better fit.

Would be nice to make a cheeky bid for him. Just to raise the stakes for both Chelsea and Man City.

Realistically I'd be happy with Berahino. Even though we've had an exodus of Midfield players gone I don't think it's crucial to get on.

If someone of Schneiderlin stature is available then great, if not then we're better of sticking with what we have.

Not seen enough of Kramer to have an opinion.

Wermer would be an unbelievable acquisition, the lad has so much promise.

I love Tim Sherwood, and as I said how long can WBA resist their player's wishes. Looks like we will have an exciting week with ins and outs. Hopefully both forward and midfield covered for now.

I think the berahino deal will be very good.

Werner makes sense as he can play both flanks and also just off the main striker.

Krammer is a good young midfielder and covers the squad positions vacated by the trio who have left.

McCarthy is obviously a serious target. However i cannot see us coming up with a deal if Everton hold out for the fee being mooted.

I am so much happier with this window and how we are going about it. No moire silly interests in players who will cost too much and will never actually sign.

Instead young energetic players who can play in a variety of roles and all have a resale value.

Much more like it.

Perfectly summed up on all points. I love Tim Sherwood, and as I said how long can WBA resist their player's wishes. Looks like we will have an exciting week with ins and outs. Hopefully both forward and midfield covered for now.

So that is seemingly corroborating the Ade to Villa and Berahino to us rumours.

While also backing up Trixs' info on wanting the midfield sorted soon (Kramer > JM) one way or another.

Good stuff.
