I'm incredibly nervous about the 115K tbh. It's a huge commitment for us as a club and it's a roll of the dice. We'll not be getting a big fee for him at any point in the future if we sign him and we're committing £24m in him. To go even further beyond this could potentially be suicide.

To be honest I really rate and like Adebayor, as a footballer I think he's a much better all round package than Damiao, but from a business/football combination perspective Damiao actually makes more sense and would probably fit AVB's system better (in the falcao role with Bale and AN Other as outside left and right). I'll still be tickled pink of we get Adebayor, but from a business sense this is a crazy deal for a club like us.

Scary innit... I wish he didn't have quite the chequered past that he has. He's a good player, but it makes me nervous too...

Guardian running with Arsenal to tie up Cazorla for £16m and Sahin on loan. Not they haven't sold RVP yet.

Which makes me wonder what in the hell we are actually doing. And concluding, same thing we've done for the last 4 transfer windows.

If we allow Cazorla to get out of our grasps at £16m I'll be pretty furious. He's such a great fit for what we need and at that price my goodness...

Struggling to find upgrades in the here and now on our budget is my guess. Plus, no CL is a real kick in the teeth in the short term.

5 hours sleep almost every night for the last two months you barstewards! Sleep deprivation is torture but it doesn't come anywhere close to being a Spurs supporter during the transfer window.

I bid you all a good night.

This Sahin and Cazorla to Arsenal talk is very VERY worrying to me. Can't see us keeping up with them this season if they pull those deals off.

That's what a lot of the Arsenal fans are saying as well; either Sahin or Cazorla.

Would be sick if they got Sahin.

The second coming of Sheyi is absolutely paramount to us being remotely successful

But it has to be predominantly on our terms
