If Adebayor was consistent he'd be world class. It's whether we could get that consistency out of him. We've failed with Pavlyuchenko, but Adebayor is still a better player than Pav so would still be worth a gamble. I would say the same about Defoe being inconsistent, but he has been consistently shit for over a year now.

I can't help but laugh at the Downing/Lennon ITK. I dont know how the hell he would know what was happening with Lennon. I think all this Lennon falling out with Harry/Daniel is all bollocks anyway. He plays more than the likes of Palacios and Kranjcar, yet we never hear bad things about those 2.

Coulibaly is a wonderkid. Check out his hatrick against Brazil under 17. I would imagine him going to Barca / Real.

To the guy who said we can get 100 mil for the deadwood "in this Market". Really who do you count as deadwood. If we get say, 25 mil for Keane (4mil) Jenas (4mil) Bentley (2mil) Hutton (3mil) Bassong (5 mil) Dos Santos (6mil) we will have done extraordinarily well.

We could bring in a replacement for Lennon, but it wouldn't be a like-for-like, and would most probably bring about quite a change in our play style. We rely quite alot of Lennon and Bale's pace down the wings when both are fit. When they're not, or off their game, we're out of ideas and just keep running into a wall of defenders in the middle of the park.

but it helps when you have a pair of forwards who offer alot of movement, work ethic and intelligence to add to that pace! we need more options up front when we have to change things. we are very predictable sometimes when things not going our way but alot of it is down to having players with good moevemnt and intelligence and also players who can come off bench to change that and give something more and different. we never had that last year imo

100mill inc our non-player sale budget, you could add Crouch, Defoe, Naughton, Palacios and Kranjcar to that list. We have to flog players just to get to the 25man squad right, then flog even more to make space for the shiny new toys.

Isn't it Ryan and POTL good enough, Ryan's info came straight from the horses mouth so to speak

what?

Did POTL say today that a bid was imminent?

I wasn't knocking anybody's info, certainly not Ryan's, just asking had there been anymore confirming this.

Havnt been on since the morning.
