This reminds me. What has happened to The Journalist? He was a Villa ITK that came on here with Spurs info from time to time. Knew something was bugging me about these Villa links, has he disappeared?

Good itk day today. Berahino would be a nice foil to Kane and can also play WF. Dont think he'll be first XI over Chadli yet though.

Hope Ade to Villa is completed today. Get him off already. 1 day is another day we have to pay him. Sp best to get that completed today.

Without insulting another ITKer, Trixs source almost definitely makes him more reliable on the Villa side of things...

Also sounds like we're close to agreeing a fee with West Brom. Once Ade has officially gone I guess we'll make our move for Berahino.

Just because they havn't received an official bid, yet, doesn't mean we havn't been negotiating behind the scenes with them.

I feel sorry prawnsandwich isn't here to share the Berahino itk love.. he'd be on cloud nine, although obviously Ade is (hopefully) off.. the lord giveth and the lord taketh away.

Interestingly, WBA haven't said Berahino isn't for sale. There seems a degree of confidence that a deal can be done. We either know what WBA want and are comfortable with that price or there's a release clause an agent has made us privy too.

Maybe the official tweet was a sly sarcastic dig a Tottenham, such as: No 'real' bid has come in yet {nothing worth considering}. You know how some clubs handle their twitter feeds - there is a bit of banter sometimes.
