I have to agree with others that he might not have a place as a Terry style defender on an AVB side. I love Dawson, but I could see him being the first to go. Any other coach, I don't even question if he stays.
Whether or not he features long term, I can't see him being sold this window. Maybe next season after a season of being benched the whole time etc, but I don't think he'll just get kicked out.

Perhaps you should have a wee read through this before deciding to spunk a huge amount of money on another CB...

listen there is no denying he is a decent player but he is extremely young and still very raw. he played for a team last year who were amazing possession wise, lets see in a team that dont get exposed so much shall we??

i have no doubt he will play for spurs at some stage and my thinking if i was him would be ' i just played 30 + games in the premier league last season , am i going to go back to spurs and sit on the bench and get the odd europa league game here and maybe the carling cup matches for the season ' . he will go out on loan and if he doesnt someone at spurs not doing their job or we are well short in center half area.

I think Guti does have a point. Has Luka schemed us all the way to a trophy? Has he had a year where he has smashed his assists and goals record? Had he been voted the best player in the league? What is it that makes him feel that he is so much better than us?

His greedy shit of an agent for one

And I liked Anthony Gardener. Not the greatest defender, but I liked him.

IMHO

1. Anthony Gardner - the original Seb Bassong.

2. Dawson - like the passion, but come on: he ain't the answer (not suggesting you said he was, happy, just saying).

Seen some of the snouts comments in recent days, and some moaning liverpudlians too! So i too was confident, but a scouse lad i know said Sigurdsson has had more talks with Liverpool, was worried if they matched our offer that the Rodgers factor would see him sign for them. Was wondering if Akqa, JJ, POTL etc know how far down the line we are with this deal and whether these 'talks' with Pool are bull or legit/if the goalposts have moved

if we were doing our jobs properly at spurs then when spurs had talks with the lad they should not have left the building withoiut tying him down to deal in some way. would be stupid considering he had talks with liverpool before us to let him go back to them.

i mean its not like he walked into meeting spurs without knowing what he could and will earn !! all he wanted to know was the football side of thinsg and his role there and his entourage wud take of money matters.
