The Fazza slap down? Bah, my memory……:( Did it have something to do with Ever?

And discussing ITK past is pretty much as on topic as this thread ever gets.

Fazza and the Arshavin night is in equal parts the best night ever on this forum and the most disappointing...although with hindsight possibly not that dissapointing although I still think he would have done better with us.

I don't remember the slap down though. That was also the last window I remember Robbofan, shame he was a good poster. Talking of old posters Valyid has been very quiet again.

You weren't around when the Torres affair happened? Mattjb on COYS (ITK's on COYS had badges back then) said Torrres was 'done'….the fallout from that one was spectacular. This was a couple of years or so before he joined Liverpool I think. I seem to remember myself, Stoof and TSH calling him all the ****s under the sun. We were edgy back in the day.

Sometimes I go to the bog for a slash and by the time i've reached the top of the stairs i'm scratching my head wondering why I got up from the sofa. What chance have I got remembering stuff that happened five or six years ago. I mean, some stuff sticks, but……..:(

I genuinely went to the supermarket the other day to buy ingredients for a chille con carne, but came back with everything but the mince. So we had a chille con carne sin carne.

Yet my memories of some meaningless little tit-for-tat between POTL and Peanut are crystal clear!

Yeah :( First year we allowed it even though I argued long and hard against it but by the second year everyone realised that I am wise and we banned it. Which is annoying, because they realisation that i'm a great big **** always comes before the wise-penny dropping.

I really enjoyed the Twitter thread...

Total loony bin of nonsense but - just like that summer when when I spent £26 of my parents money on Clubcall - weirdly addictive and entertaining.

It also meant I didn't have to actually go on Twitter! (y)

Can you ****s please either stop reminiscing about things pre-SMC, or start reminiscing about things that actually happened during my tenure on this website, so that i can partake in this discussion?

The reason that my memories of past windows is so hazy is because by the end of them, I've developed a massive drinking problem. It takes several months of therapy to recover and then...the next one comes along.
This window seems to be better though so far. I've had a litre bottle of scotch which has lasted me two days. Yay me.

The cabbage will never die. It is now etched into SC's ITK folklore. People will recall cabbage in transfer windows to come and tell new members about the glory that was the cabbage-window. Love it or loath it, the cabbage cryptic has made the transfer window that little bit more entertaining……….SC needed its very own Blue & Yellow moment and Rob gave it to us :D

Quite funny reading the cabbage frenzy after jj. It was like he'd taken a big stick to a Hornets nest!

Can't help feeling he then sat back with his pinkie against his teeth like doctor evil, laughing his ass off. ;)

The day VDV signed.

The thread full of people using the word 'ratified' for the first time in their lives.

And then over, and over again.

Hey Sarge, I remember a classic thread named after you as it was your birthday. Must be approaching that time of year again huh? :D

That was peanut who had the final word. Ironic that peanut's ITK really didn't need to be taken with a pinch of salt.

Poor bloke probably got axed from COYS for not using a soup spoon correctly.
