If we don't hear any movements of incomings today I doubt we'll sign anyone this week.

I always like to think that we will at last unveil our summer signings at teh hoime pre season friendly. Looks unlikely at this point, but it is only wednesday.

Because my life is one long fucking curse and pretty much any prediction I make ends up going the opposite way, I'm going to go ahead and agree with you there.

No ITK has mentioned Wilson to stoke or Lennon to City... the idea Wilson would consider Stoke an option or City would look twice at lennon are laughable. NO ITK, No sense = bollocks

Someone's woken up with a spring in their step and a song in their heart then?

Not sure about a lack of itk today signalling no signings this week. Things can change so quickly.

Might sound crazy, but I would rather Keane and Defoe go before Crouch.

Yep does sound crazy

My order to be sold, Keane, Crouch, Pav, JD.

And yes before someone says it, I know we won't get rid of all 4, right now I'd be happy enough with one.

Nope I'm with you on that one. Crouch is not great but at least he offers something different.

yeah he offers long ball football and the inability to cleanly strike a ball

defoe can stay.........Crouch must go (and Keane)

I don't go on holiday until 06.05 Saturday, so don't expect anything to happen any earlier than 06.06 that day.

So would I. Crouch is the only one who vdv can play with.

VDV is world class and can play with anyone.

He's scored regularly at every club he's been at, without needing a 6'7'' partner. anyone playing with Crouch would get 5-6 knock down goals a season. I think your confusing VDV as a striker hes's not, he's an attacking midfield playmaker. It was because of the talent we have in midfield that he was used in a more forward role, and because Harry thought he was better a better player than all of our strikers.

Harry really didnt find a way to play VDV without disrupting our pattern of play which also helped with the decline of our strikers goal tally. It was a case of he's such a good player[and name] we have to play him, but I like the midfielsd as it is where shall we play him?

Llorente would be an ideal replacement for Crouch. He's 6'6" but can hold the ball up and scores more headers than anyone in Europe (last 2 seasons i think). Not confident it will happen and mummblings yesterday kind of suggested we had little chance but i live in hope. 1 thing, he isn't a regular top scorer though - we would still be missing the 15/20 goal man (Ady etc)
