If as it appears, Levy is not really backing Harry 100%, then that will or has, filtered through to the players, and done us considerable damage, Levy must surely back his manager or replace him.....i would hope he backs Harry and lets him bring in the players he wants.

If Harry is not getting his own way, or even if things are not going well and he wants to deflect blame, his side of the story will more than "filter through", it will be plastered all over the dressing room walls and spread like wildfire throughout his media contacts.....which is exactly what is happening. And let's face it, Harry has always operated this way.

Well if Harry has always operated this way,as you say, Levy would have known he was like that, so he shouldn't have employed him if he had a problem with the way he operates..so my point stands that Levy should either back him or get rid.

Not sure I believe the Cahill talk, if we want him why would we leave it until the last week when he's clearly been available for the right price all window why would we suddenly decide to go in for him?
I know we leave things until the end but we've usually been haggling for a few weeks before.

A centre back isn't priority. We need goals. If we take our chances it will take less pressure of the defence. I think we would struggle to keep 5 top centre backs happy.

We dont have 5 top ones though... we have 2, Gallas & King who is always injured. Possibly Dawson at times

So if Chelsea are in Modric's ear every 2 seconds why have Spurs not reported Chelsea to the league, they do not have permission to talk to him.

Sit him in a room and get a detective to grill him for hour upon hour and the truth will come out and Chelsea can be relegated for tapping players up.

Spot on fella.
Dawson and Defoe to me are not international class, dawson is an excellent Premier league player but needs better alongside him to shine.

Cahill would certainly be an upgrade on Kaboul and Bassong who it seems do not learn from their mistakes. He is a homegrown player as well and young which helps, we do not need another 30 year old centre back.

Because you have to get players off the wage bill before you add players to it. Initial d=savings were reserved for strikers and a central midfield replacement for Palacios.
