So if Chelsea are in Modric's ear every 2 seconds why have Spurs not reported Chelsea to the league, they do not have permission to talk to him.

Sit him in a room and get a detective to grill him for hour upon hour and the truth will come out and Chelsea can be relegated for tapping players up.

There was some ITK earlier in the window that we're waiting till after the window shuts, so that the 2 year suspended sentenace they are sat on will cover the next 4 windows, not just 3.

I do think we fall in love we spurs players to much. The likes of Dawson and Defoe love the club makes us as fans love them. Are they really going to take us to the next level? I don't think so. It's to late for wholesale changes but as Harry says we need players with character and winners.

Spot on fella.
Dawson and Defoe to me are not international class, dawson is an excellent Premier league player but needs better alongside him to shine.

Cahill would certainly be an upgrade on Kaboul and Bassong who it seems do not learn from their mistakes. He is a homegrown player as well and young which helps, we do not need another 30 year old centre back.

IMHO, Cahill is no better than Bassong & Kaboul.

Remember who from? I remember in the Modric thread SP going on about it but not sure he ever said an ITK ever mentioned it.

I back Harry but why would Levy get rid of him and have to pay to do so (plus his staff) when he can get compensation for him when England take him?

Harry wants proven 30 year olds, which will kill the club when they all retire together, Levy rightly wants younger players with a sell on value.

Levy has pissed off Modric, Harry is trying to be his friend as he has to pick him after 31st August which he can't do if he is pissing him off as well. The is more to media comments than meets the eye.

Agree, Cahill is Arse bound ubfortunately... Samba could be a good shout there Hot-Spur as I’m sure I read Blackburn were close to signing a new centre back

No, I think we're pretty much done business wise.

Gio, Hutton and Bentley will go in the next 38 hours as they wont make our 25. But that'll be it.

Diarra and Cahill in for Palacios and Bassong is the absolute best case scenario.

Apparent interest Bellamy, Parker, Cole and Hargreaves are Levy humouring Redknapp's follies IMO, and (fingers crossed) will ultimately come to nothing because of their ages, salaries and not being real improvements.

Actually though Arsenal need the big brutish one (Samba) and we need the quicker more cultured one (Cahill)

We have such a chip on our shoulders its un-real and I imagine dealing with Levy both buying & selling is a complete nightmare.

It should be a very busy two days. If nothing else Sunday's debacle should have given both Harry and Levy a kick up the arse. Let's hope to get a flurry of ITK this morning to help move the day along.

Was is it pathetic exactly? WE have these players on contracts and have no reason to sell. Other clubs tapping them up and getting them to force moves is against the rules so why shouldn't we stick up for ourselves.

Levy has faced the situation twice now. He regrets what he allowed to happen with Berba so is trying a different tactic this time.

If he sticks to his guns, he will have earned a lot of respect (although maybwe not with the greedy players, agents and mega rich clubs who are ruining football)
