yes. Farfan has 12months left and will not sign a new contract. he will go for peanuts compared to other fees.
Schalke have already signed 1 forward this window, promoted another from youth ranks and have a replacement lined up for tomorrow. they have about 7 forwards.

Any idea what fees we are looking at mate...apologies if you have mentioned this before

As DP pointed out a few days back, Schalke and Werder are object lessons to those who believe we should spend beyond our means in the hope of a CL bonanza.
I'm in full agreement with what DP pointed out. We should employ the Lyon model of a few years back where every player is for sale but at OUR set price. No point of us pretending to be as big as some fans think we are. We have got to accept for the time being where we are in the food chain....

For those saying Pjanic, he's going to Roma for 10 million Euros. What a price. Honigstein said he was offered to Arsenal and they turned him down.

My comment about Schalke was tongue in cheek but as I'm sure you're right about their and Werder's financial situation,we should have had a serious look at some of their players,Marin in particular.
Seems like an opportunity missed.

The thing is, get the right scouts, the right DoF, the right transitional assistant and follow the rules, and this model doesn't mean we can compete for 4th. It means we can win the league. Systems are more powerful than superstars. It's honestly that simple

This is the only response I'm going to give on this matter as it's not ITK related, but WALOB. How do you intend to climb that chain if you sell your best players? What an idiotic comment.

Zamora, Dempsey, Dembele, Duff and now Ruiz - Pretty nifty foward line for Fulham

Has Levy been spotted with his bag of swag in Spain yet?

Don't you know Harry went over to take a look at him, and decided he wasn't good enough? I guess despite scoring in the game, he must have not run around enough for HR.

"Scouts" all over the place but we always end up going for Bellamy/Cole/Rio etc

guess all will be revealed tomorrow. all credit to you if this comes off as no one else mentioned this and you've stuck to your guns. feeling confident??

cant wait for tomorrow. feeling so confident. huntelaar definitly. Farfan to. Tasci (ive got a feeling he could be the big signing others are predicting; not in price; but hes a player).
i was told diarra was done last week and can only apologise but i did get the fee of c.£10million right, as i knew that madrid never paid the reported fee, when others where spouting £18million plus being the problem . but there is still strong belief that it could be done. the afellay one is the one i worry about because it does seem to have gone really quiet.

but feeling so confident especially huntelaar.

Journalist - do you agree with SSN that Arsenal have ended their interest in Cahill now?

No, not on the bank account, but if you're going to fly over for a game of football, might as well stay the whole game. It's a big waste of time.

it would be if the whole point of him going was to watch the game... who knows what was going on in during the second half?

And therein lies your problem. However, I'm going to slap myself across the wrist for going OT here, and suggest a thread in SC.

Take the time out to read DP's Lyon model from a few days back and you will then get a clearer picture....

well fair play...but surprised if huntelaar and farfan have not been picked up by any other 'journo' out there even with 24hrs to go.

so big respect if you call it....but prepare for a fearful hammering if its wrong (history tells us, we arent a forgiving lot)
