Journalist, had deals been agreed in principle for KJH and Farfan at the start of the window, with them being seen as last minute back-ups if we didn't get our primary targets, or were they always going to be coming?

Journalist,

Out of interest, does your info come from the Levy side of things, or the Redknapp side of things?

A second striker, another wide man and possibly Tasci.

If that happens, it goes from being a shit window to a very good one. Mebba Parker and Cahill in as well and I would be quite emotional.

cant wait for tomorrow. feeling so confident. huntelaar definitly. Farfan to. Tasci (ive got a feeling he could be the big signing others are predicting; not in price; but hes a player).
i was told diarra was done last week and can only apologise but i did get the fee of c.£10million right, as i knew that madrid never paid the reported fee, when others where spouting £18million plus being the problem . but there is still strong belief that it could be done. the afellay one is the one i worry about because it does seem to have gone really quiet.

but feeling so confident especially huntelaar.

Irrespective of how things pan out I think you should deserve huge credit for your contributions over this window. No cryptics, everything stated with confidence and without ambiguity, plus questions answered promptly. Well done - have some rep.

Funny guy on twitter claims Luka to Chelsea for a fee £41,5Mp.
Hey everybody lets give Luka a kick behind in he`s a##!

DL lets get on shopping, bring in Diarra, Huntelaar and Cahill + Hulk.
Maybe Sneijder as a surprice signing!!

Not knocking your info TJ, I just doubt we will sign Hunterlaar after his start to the german season. Plus the fact that we could have signed him TWICE before but didn't pursue interest.

Diarra maybe but prob Milan, Hulk no way, Huntelaar hope so and Cahill looks the obvious one at the moment.
Isit really possible to do so many deals in only one day? Ive got a feeling its not and at the most we get Cahill & Parker.

If Roma land Pjanic for that reported fee, they will have completed what was an incredible transfer window. Walter Sabatini is a brilliant Sporting Director and they will challenge for a top 3 place in Serie A with the signings of Lamela, Stekelenburg, Pjanic, and Osvaldo. Their net spending for those 4 players would be roughly 33 million pounds. Excellent business for them, and they did what we couldn't, by not only keeping De Rossi from leaving, but making sure he didn't kick up a fuss and cause problems in the squad, either.

As for Huntelaar, I think we would have to pay a minimum of 15 million for Schalke to consider selling him. He's been in great form so far, and their fans will be very upset if he is sold. They don't have a good enough replacement for him, and they can't afford to have another down season in the Bundesliga, which would surely happen if they had to rely on Raul up front.

It comes from villa
Yea I know that, but for someone at Villa to be ITK about Spurs, it's going to have to come from somewhere at Spurs. If not, then he surely has no reason to be so confident

Edit, after seeing the Harry comment, then fair enough, love it to come off tbh, especially at this stage of the window

Based on ITK I've seen I would be delighted with Samba and Cahill, both strong and quick defensively and an aerial threat offensively. Also, the best we can attract at the moment.

This is the only response I'm going to give on this matter as it's not ITK related, but WALOB. How do you intend to climb that chain if you sell your best players? What an idiotic comment.

Sorry but didn't United sell their best player............and re-invested did it harm them or make them better?

Liverpool sold their best player.................and re-invested did it harm them or make them better?

The point is 1 player doesn't make a team!

On holiday at the moment so not been on last couple of days. Any news on the big one?

I really don't want to log on tomorrow night to find it's just Scott Parker.

Sorry but Samba is no quicker than Charlie and even slower on the turn.
