Morning tards.

Two pieces of ITK yesterday but a 40 page thread

Strange day yesterday......A ginger guy pulled a gun on me in a deserted alley. Scared shitless, I offered him my wallet but he batted it aside.

Then he forced me to become friends with him.

What little ITK there was started with some about Wilson
Archibald said:

Wilson still undecided plus medical needed yet
Seems he might be going to PSG.........

Then more on the same deal.....

PSG agree to our asking price...still yet to be official though.

Fee is 15.5m Euro/14m GPB
And that was it for the day.

When I got in yesterday, I went into the bedroom finding my phone still on charge from where I had forgotten it this morning. Looking to see if I had any missed calls I saw two texts from my mrs.

"hey babe, you have left your phone at home. How silly of you"
And then followed by another one,
"just realised, lol, I forgot to ask you to pick up milk"

In other news:

The Daily Mirror say that....
Tottenham are set to make Mexican striker Antonio Pedroza Whitham their first signing of the summer transfer window with the 20-year-old set to cost under £1m as his contract at the Mexican club had expired

The Daily Mail insist that......
The White Hart Lane club have also joined Manchester City in the chase for highly rated 16-year-old Caen striker M'Baye Niang.

Whilst Talksport reckon that......
Chelsea have made a huge undisclosed bid for Palermo's attacking midfielder Javier Pastore, which seems to signal the end of their quest for Luka Modric.

And The Daily Mail again are saying.........
Bolton and Tottenham are among clubs to have shown an interest in Egyptian midfielder Hosny Abd Rabo.

And at last is seems that Greece is now faced with the stark reality that you cannot smash that much crockery without severe economic repercussions.

Now then. Have you donated to SC yet? No? What you get all this and more and you haven't donated? Don't make me ban you. Just click on the donate button and part with the price of a gallon of petrol

Click here to donate.....You'll feel good

I can just imagine 'Arry on a scouting trip to Mexico.

"Fergie said they picked their bloke off the street. Oh look at that bloke crossing the street, he looks triffic - is he worth 20m? I'll call Levy, might be worth it."

I'll be the first to say it... Anyone know if Hosny Abd Rabo is on form?

Quiet ITK day yesterday, I'd settle for some more on out-goings so we can get moving in the market!

confirmed by Ryantegan with:
Do we know how much? I was hearing less than 6m

Is that what you imagine? Sad.

While I'm one of the people that don't particularly want to see the back of Palacios and Pavlyuchenko, £27m for the pair of them would be great business for two players that aren't first choice.

Parker for less than £6m would mean we replace Palacios for less than half the price, as well as adding another English player to our squad.

Pav is the striker that I'd prefer us to sell last, but he's also the player who is easiest to sell. None of the other three strikers are likely to move abroad, so that really limits the amount of prospective buyers we have for them.

Hopefully we'll see a couple of sales in the next week or so, freeing up some space for at least one striker that we need.

I think Palacios moving and the quoted fee is right. He has simply not been good enough recently (so many misplaced passes). As for Pav, he is the only striker I want us to keep. He is by far the most talented of our current strike force, in my opinion anyway.

Look if anything this Whitman story is a great bit of business. The worst he can be is Bebe, and he costs more than 8 times less than the legend himself! So worst comes to worst we can sell Whitman onto a lesser club for around a similar fee.

The best scenario is that Whitman will be a good premier league striker - let's face it lads, if he were going to be as good as Chicarito, Mexico would have already snapped him up. But a good Premier League striker is what we need.

Now for our big name signing - Postiga!

Antonio Pedeoza Whitman sounds like a name generated on Football Manager.

As was pointed out yesterday he's actually one of the most consistent passers in our squad. People seem to have latched onto one game where he misplaced a few passes in a row and then just assumed he does that in every game.

I think Sandro is the better player and I think Parker offers us a reasonable replacement but to say Palacios isn't good enough is just daft. All you have to do is watch the game away at the San Siro to see that.

Anyway...it was a quiet day ITK-wise yesterday. I reckon if we get anything today it'll be about outgoings rather than incomings.

Well I tried to imagine the day when you would finally post something constructive, but my imagination isn't that far-fetched.

wasted my rep on the 1st post. This is truly funny

I thought they sed the names of the games developers etc... and just jumbled them up

I'm hoping he proves to be a great buy, just like Kranky & VdV both turned out

It would be nice seeing a surprise announcement tomorrow about a player when the window opens.
