Been out for a while, Can someone please tell me why RM want Christian Ceballos? I mean was he not a former Barca whizkid that never made it? Can quite understand why we took an option on him tbh.

Getting a bit concerned about the Llorente to Liverpool rumour now, especially if the latest news about Carroll leaving is true.

Sounds like they are about to make room for another striker

without wanting to be an ITK basher - I used to be a member on SO and Jasper tended to use the scatter gun approach and called very little right. Was a bit of a joke tbh and got a load of stick for it. Reminds me a lot of adiepf

Slightly off topic but whatever happened to adiepf? Does he post somewhere else now?

Of course it will be. They're not entering into an agreement with a much smaller club as a favour to us. Still, hopefully it will mean that when they do rape us of the Bales etc in future seasons, this will limit the amount of ****iness they get up to (unsettling players, dicking around with lowball offers etc) when those times come.

hopefully it will be fruitful as our relationship between International in terms of LD.
aka you must register interest at least two years in advance, and then we will still mess you around

Has Ben's stuff been posted yet?

Carroll just had medical at Holly House.

The assumption is its for West Ham...

If this leads to LFC getting Llorente then we will well and truly have missed a trick.

That's the thing mate. He doesn't really poach well enough. He mainly scores from outside the box.
Indeed. if Defoe was an out and out fox in the box, he'd actually be perfect for the way our team is shaping up. The sharp edge of the blade etc. Unfortunately he isn't and his other attributes, whilst not as bad as many make out, simply make him a very poor fit in a team playing anything other than 4-4-2.

Not sure the stuff from Ben is RO worthy, we're not after him. It's West Ham.

funny, there's been a lot of ITK today -- but if you read between the lines, they seemingly lack substance and specificity. EG: 'we may sign two, maybe three and they may be good, and they may be not'. wonder why all of the cloak-and-dagger?
Err, maybe because things are constantly changing?

.........and Big Sam made a press release an hour ago saying they can't afford him. Why's Carroll at Holly House? Our back up striker?

I hope it's us. Andy Carroll is an amazing striker.

Oops my mistake, I was thinking of Ibrahimovic.
I'll probably get slated for this but I don't really care. I don't think Ibrahimovic is amazing at all. I think he's extremely overrated.

We could probably get better, but Carroll would be an excellent striking option to have. Not against that one at all.

Sum Monsterism I don't want to be a dick, but I hope you lose that bet, actually I'm praying you lose that bet and I hope you lose the next 5 afterwards for even trying to profit on Spur's misery. Because let's be honest, we'll be beyond miserable if that lump of Geordie lard ever played for this club.

Indeed. It all depends on how the player reacts in each instance. If they pull a Modric, we'll sell quickly if the deal is good. The club must have realised that although what they did with Modric was necessary, it was far from ideal. If the player/s in question dont jump at the first opportunity to sign for Real then all the better. No need to sell.

But yeah, we'll get scraps, and they'll put in the occasional good word to a wonder buy we might not otherwise get a sniff of - a la VDV a couple of yrs.

Things appear so bleak on the striker front, I just get this feeling Levy is going to pull something big out of the bag. I not entirely sure why...
Maybe, it's the changes he has made, manager and coaches, training facility, stadium on the horizon, all driven towards elevating the club to the next level, it seems odd to think he would leave the squad with such a glaring weakness, as a successful team must be such a critical part of his plans.

As driven a business man as he us, let us not also forget how ambitious he is.

I need Levy to pull this off as quickly as possible purely for the sake of my work, it is suffering as this window comes to close... Too much SC, not enough work going on...
