Then AVB would be an idiot, if Rodgers can see that Carroll does not work then AVB can too (he's already said no to him publicly also). So because of that if we sign him then Levy has gone over AVB's head and that is very bad news for our club. So really your final point isn't all that accurate.

If you try to retort with a comment about AVB not always being honest in the media, you'd be wide of the mark as AVB has only been this definitive with Carroll, everyone else has been vague or not wholly certain.

Im not saying we're gonna sign him! Just highlighting I wouldn't cry, like you are now, if we signed him... Now stop getting touchy with me dude, I'm not hurting anyone - least not the club we love!

If Liverpool are dependent on selling Caroll before buying Llorente, maybe Levy is pulling a "N'gog"?

"Yesss, sure Mr Bindipper, we would like to buy Caroll for an amount equal to Llorentes price, just one moment. Maybe two moments. Still buying him, one moment more!
...
Sorry, no deal..."

Cue the rumours of Carroll in a helicopter flying around England tomorrow.

Considering today is the penaltimate day, and we are nearing the end of it. That's not exactly a 'putting yourself out there on a limb' assumption now is it.

What I meant is, it would have been nice to have our signings wrapped up by today and avb to have come out and said, job done

Instead we are all gonna be sat around the tv tomorrow night like a nonce who's sat in his car outside a school waiting for playtime.

We shouldn't be doing it but we can't help ourselves

I'm very touchy about gambling on anything that could negatively affect Spurs. I've been known to shout at people who bet on the scum in North London Derbies so they can feel better if we lose. It really pisses me off.

Horrible thought for the day: Liverpool can afford to buy Llorente because we're going to buy And..

Nope, can't quite bring myself to finish that line.

You do know that betting on things doesn't actually affect the outcome...

Unless you're from the East and betting on Cricket! ;)

well try not to upset other people whilst you're doing it. or whilst you do anything. It's a decent mantra. (y)

(and some might suggest there's no negative or positive, but just the way you interpret the things that happen...)

Keep up Biz!

I thought he was returning to the Toon.

Maybe, in an extreme twist, Levy is secretly buying Carroll, then shipping him off to Newcastle in exchange for Cisse? I mean, since Liverpool seemed so reluctant to sell him back and all.

Ben saying Andy Carroll has had a medical at Holly House.

Assumes its Hammers

Desperately hope Liverpool are stuck with that extortionately expensive ugly lump for the full duration of his contract. Would hate for them to replace Carroll with someone who could play football.

It's not that it affects the event but rather the fact they'd put money on something that if it wins would negatively affect the club, just so you can feel better. Fuck that, you wanna feel better go kick a gooner in the balls, don't win money off them.
