do people really still believe that levy is on a mission to undermine all of his managers and build a shitty team? i somehow doubt that. he wants to be successful too... but not financially irresponsible.

Its what Harry has had to put up with for 4 years

Levy manipulates it.

"Yeah Yeah, I'll ring Porto and see if we can do a deal Andre, no problem"

"Hello Tim? its me Daniel, can you pretend that we had a go for Moutinho? just tell Andre that he was 35m or something. I can get Dembele by the way. Yeah I know Andre aint sure, but I'll sweet talk him"

"Andre, yeah, they still reckon Moutinho aint for sale. How about Dembele?"

TBF Ryan you are a little biased as you have been consistently one of the most anti levy posters for a while.

It never ceases to amaze me how so many people on this forum, upon receipt of information which may or may not be true and which does not fit in with their aspirations, jump to a conclusion and immediately look for someone to blame. Yesterday DL was hailed as a god - today he is a useless twat. FFS grow up some of you and accept that the transfer market is almost always fraught with problems and unless we are in possession of all the facts (which we will never be) we are in no position to decide the rights and wrongs of a situation. We have had a great window so far but of course all of the good business we have done (and may still do) is now forgotten in the current frenzy and outpourings of bile.

Stop talking sense you twat*

*this is a joke btw ;)

There are some things that would go better unmentioned. If Levy and AVB are having a row it is downright dangerous to divulge that information to the fans IMO. Wish JJ had locked that comment in a cellar somewhere. I don't mind negative news regarding transfers but this could be incredibly damaging especially since JJ provided zero context.

Levy obviously only gonna get in players on reasonable wages and young enough that he can sell with value later if he's gonna pick our players!

This better change, if we end the transfer window with a manager that feel betrayed we arent gonna be in to good shape! :(

Sadly it appears that the Chealsea and Man City way of throwing money at it seems to be the way to go if you truly want success nowadays. All this waiting until deadline day to save a few million here and there isn't working for us is it?

Unfortunatly it looks as though sacking Harry may have been a bit of a mistake if you're not goin to trust AVB to pick his targets and get them in for him.

A mate of mine works at the lane and has told me that DL is small time, I'm starting to believe him but tomorrow may prove me wrong!

welp it's time for me to take a break from this thread until tomorrow. silly season is in full swing. amazed at how negatively some of you are talking about levy.
this isn't productive, but i feel it needs to be said: a majority of you are complete and utter dramatic babies and need to chill. out.

no one but the van der vaarts know if he wants to go on a personal level and if spurs and levy know he wants to go then a deal should be winding up and close with porto if that is that case.

its all a set up if u ask to feed the levy ego on deadline day. we will see but if spurs dont sign at least 2 players tomm i will be one pissed off bloke considering some shite we still have on books.

Agreed. Also it's hard to believe that someone who got all his info from a close person to Harry would giving us a 100% accurate rundown of how things are. The idea that Levy would be so petty to not even ring Porto is an absurd statement to make.

is all here say so far but if the chairman don't back AVB we should start making our feeling clear at matches towards Levy, I don't want to do a Leeds but I certainly don't want to do an Arsenal either where they make a profit every window to sink into the shareholders pockets either.

well one thing was accurate all a long - we've got a meltdown; new manager throwing toys out of the pram on the eve of our most chaotic day of the year.

Cracker.
