I'm not sure why it hasn't been ignored. It seems like there might be something to it based on the reaction by Breezer and GF, but who knows??
It's certainly fun to think that we are capable of pulling off a big deal like that on the final day of the window.

Possibly but we would have done VERY well to have kept this so quiet that no ITK or journo on either side has gotten a single whiff of it.

I am excited by the links that our ITK's are hinting at, but I'm also a bit concerned that it looks like we may be signing no outfield players with any Premier League experience.. Nothing is guaranteed either way, of course.

In all honesty, my biggest concern was a RB so if we complete Aurier, everything else is gravy baby.

In essence there is nothing wrong with our attack and as we know poch puts great emphasis on the fullbacks. We have been without our firstchoice pairing since Rose' injury so he may see rose coming back and Aurier as the solution. That being said, we need a backup striker and a creative player. This all points to a left field signing or 2 tomorrow. I honestly believe Barkley was the main target but his injury has scuppered it. But there must be a plan b?
As for the striker, that is anybody's guess...
