Right, I've got 12% battery left and I've got to get across the English channel and back home. I expect this horseing around to be cleared up next time I check back in. COYS!

I know Jehovah's Prayer says give us our daily thread, but what is going on here? Every post referencing Life Of Brian should be rated as spam (obviously) or deleted. This is exactly why I suggested a meltdown thread so those who actually want to discuss the day's ITK can do so without trawling through crap.

Oh, and an 'assistant referee' is NOT the fourth official. He's what was called a linesman. Go de-crypticate that.

On holiday in France so will keep my eyes open for any French ITK lol.

I posted a while ago about some info I had re Alfie Mawson which seems to have gone nowhere so I guess Foyth is done as he would replace Wimmer and be Poch's pet project.

Aurier in my opinion is done, and will be presented with Foyth later today to create some good will ready for tomorrow.

Barkley is done, Everton have spent the fee so god only knows why it's being held up.

The Overdraft opening (thanks @wishkah) at that level is very interesting and tells me we expect (potentially) to do some serious business tomorrow as it will offer us flexible payment terms as wishkah explained:

I don't post a lot so would like to thank everyone; Rob, Stoof, A&C, JJ, Herc, Gards, GF and everyone else for making this site so much fun to read!

I'm not going to speculate, and will reserve judgement for when the window shuts.

Fingers crossed - COYS!!
Wow - Come on Barkley! Lol

From google: Jadon is a Hebrew name meaning "God has heard," "thankful" (according to Strong's Concordance), "a judge," or "whom God has judged." It appears in the Hebrew Bible or Old Testament as the name of Jadon the Meronothite, one of the builders of the wall of Jerusalem in the Book of Nehemiah (Nehemiah 3:7).

Anyone know what the Hebrew word for god is...?

*Hint: Jehovah

On the Wikipedia page about the different names of Jehovah, one of the 'uncommon or esoteric names' used is Bore.

So I think we're signing James Milner.

So is this an acurate state of where we are?? 4 signings hoped for/expected by Poch.
  1. Juan Foyth - done deal.
  2. Serge Aurier - WP approved, expected to be confirmed later today?
  3. An unnamed 'Quality wide forward' believed to be nearly done (ref Hercules). Multiple guessing games ensued, but no names confirmed.
  4. An AM/No.10 being very close?
Potentially one of No3 and No4 could be the JJ stated 'name not been picked up in here or by the press yet', also one could be the Hercules stated 'been encouraged to go back in for a previous target'.

Does that about sum up the current state of affairs?
