:)
I tried to find the post but it looks like it's been deleted. Now that is spooky. The poster went into some detail about Lamela's past achievements but said he would be better off abroad.
I believe his brother used twitter quite a bit just before and after he came?
Mate, he was a guy who had followed Lamela's career. Not an ITK.

Have you ever heard the phrase, "Only believe half of what you and none of what you hear"?

I was only directing you to that thread because you have previous for going off on some theory or the other about something underhanded taking place based on something someone said somewhere.

Anyway I would just like to add that even if MoPo has been given the backing of the powers that be when it comes to discarding Ade, Capoue and Kaboul there is no way Levy will allow a £26m asset to be written off by MoPo no matter how well he is doing. I would believe the money more than I would ever believe the rumblings of someone on the Internet.

Transfer Window open.

Do not fuck this up Levy.

Hopefully the amount of ITK will start to increase now :)

What? Any evidence or is this the most ironic post ever?

Edit-Like your recent rantings this literally makes no sense.

I'm not going to go look for what you said because I really don't care that much but you definitely were in conspiracy mode before and I said then and I will say again, that you are just making up shit. Anyway I'm getting out of here before AC bans me.

Don't accuse me of making up shit. That is bang out of order.

Edit: I am not replying to any more of your posts. You are obviously a WUM.

Just wanted to say when I read that in my mind it sounded like you were saying it with a Scouse accent

Rrrrr I'm not havin' that mate. Seriously though @prawnsandwich , it's funny that you're the one spamming everyone round here when you're the one who's spammed the last few pages with non-ITK related content.

You think Schneiderlin would create more chances than Cabaye? Hell man, in 33 games Schneiderlin only gave one assist last season and created 30 chances. In a mere 19 games last year in the Premier League, Cabaye doubled that assist tally and created 33 chances. That's three more chances in 14 less games. Cabaye is a playmaker, while Schneiderlin is a well-rounded holding mid. Cabaye is the very embodiment of creating goals for others from deep.

And unfortunately, it's that very competition for the top four/European places that I think would lead Southampton to either not sell to us or demand an astronomical fee even greater than they did in the summer.

You misunderstood the comparison to Mason. Schneiderlin makes runs from deep, playing as the advanced CM, rather than the DLP. His runs not only allow him to get in goal scoring positions, but draws defenders away, opening up gaps for others to take advantage of.

When Mason went off a few games back (maybe it was Palace) our entire attack changed because we no longer had someone willing to make those runs. Dembele, although a beast with the ball, doesn't make these runs and we end up playing in front of a defence. Schneiderlin would change that.

Cabaye would play in Bentaleb's position, the player who sits and dictates play.

Your last point is exactly what I was saying - but the price of Schneiderlin (or at least a fraction of it, depending on what Southampton are asking for) will be worth it for damaging a competitor. Mathematically we'd have to work out what the risk/reward value is, but it's partially a business decision based on a footballing need.

Mason was irrelevant in my response. You said in the post to which I responded that Schneiderlin would create goals for others while you were concerned with Cabaye's contribution to this regard. I think you may have the players and their positioning flipped, and I reinforced that mathematically. If you think Cabaye to be the more stationary player and Schneiderlin the more mobile, then I can only assume your samples from which you drew your stance were unusual, as the the truth is quite the opposite. Cabaye is an extremely mobile playmaker from deep who does very well at integrating either attack. I don't know how else to day it but re-highlight the fact Cabaye created more chances in 14 less games than Schneiderlin did. Schneiderlin will occasionally make the runs in behind, but not as often Cabaye gets forward to affect the attack.

I understand what you're saying about weighing the fee against hurting a direct competitor for immense financial return, but again that's also exactly why they won't sell to us given the scenario.

We don't have that money, or if we did, don't play that way and I think the southampton policy is to already have a replacement ready to go if they have to sell. Unless they worked on a gentleman's agreement with Morgan of play nicely and you can go in the summer, i wonder who they have in their ranks or coming in from outside to take over, any ideas?
