I'm sure Fergie wouldn't say no. Not that Man U have a spare £40m
From my vague understanding of the mysterious world of ITK - sources are requested in private by most sites, so they can at least be considered (semi) credible at least.
Word to the wise though (not that you need it, you've been here long enough) enjoy your trips into this forum with a bag of salt in tow. That way you won't end up all wibbly like some long departed SCers.
I have a feeling they'll be a Fucky Friday Flemish signing tomorrow.
is it me or are there more itk bellends around than usual? seriously, if there were this many people in the know we'd have to have a proper look at our internal governance systems. am i the only person in the world without an 'in' at white hart lane?

Sorry but I really dislike this attitude. Utd have finished above us for god knows how long so we should just accept that's the way it is and not worry about finishing below them? We need to try and push on and challenge the likes of Utd and City, regardless of how dominant one has been, or how much money the other has spent. Selling our best players to the teams above us will only set us back further.
No matter how things have turned out over the years there's always a chance that our era can come and we could challenge at the top.

christ, i read every post on SC with a dollop of salt. as for itk it's all cobblers. in any deal there are probably 6-10 people truly in the know - (and by that i mean ahead of the papers in reporting a player moving to a club, it's not itk if it's the currant bun the day before). the player, the agent, the manager and chairman of the selling club and the manager and chairman of the buying club, maybe a few people doing the medical stuff and contracts. none of these really has an interest in the deal being scuppered by some bellsniffer on a forum trying big himself up.
i have only ever seen one bloke get something right when no one else had a sniff of the deal and it happened once. it was with rasiak and the bloke was called southlondonspurs. i have never heard of anyone ever getting anything else right. and given the amount of BS that flies around every window, that's pretty poor. none of these blokes know a thing more than anyone else on here do they?

Do we really need to disect who or who isn't ITK? Take it for what it is, some comes off, some doesnt, the majority is posted in good faith and people enjoy reading it. If you don't enjoy it or don't beleive it, then don't come in here and read it. It's not difficult.

Yes. Inevitably it will come to an end. As I've said, I would prefer him to go elsewhere.
Yet it's funny how we sold Carrick (best finish 5th) and Berbatov (best finish 5th), yet somehow didn't get set back further (4th twice). That seems to be a missing fact every time somebody spouts off about how weak we are for selling our players. In fact, our biggest weakness is that we were so set on showing how big our balls were to the world, that we sold Berbatov at the last second without a replacement in place.
Our problem isn't selling players to big clubs.
It's that we don't have the belief that a system and an ethos is more important that an individual player. We put too much capital in the mules and little in the damn barn.
I say we can sell United both Modric and Bale, and if we have a system in place (which we don't right now) and a coach who believes he can kick that worthless Scottish twats ass in any dual (we haven't had that ever) WE CAN STILL wipe the floor with them. But we don't have anybody at the club with the foresight to believe in that. And we don't have anybody at the club that doesn't turn over and show their belly at the mere mention of Ferguson or United. And the reason people are scared of selling a player to him....it reminds them of their station. But it NEVER makes people act to change their station. Holding onto a player and kicking up a childish tantrum won't change your place in the pecking order. Instilling your players with the same belief that Ferguson has done in his WILL.
That's the attitude I loathe and detest and see splattered all over this board. It's pathetic. And that is the true weakness.
But he's not though is he. Others have got things right, and even if they don't come off it doesn't mean that they are wrong!!JJetset is the only 'real' ITK we have here. For anyone to call Saha and Nelsen has to be. Most importantly, it wasn't in the rags either so it wasn't regurgitated info. He is the only person that I actually believe.
Makes me wonder why you bother reading this section really.
There are loads of itk that have got things spot-on. Valencia Yid regularly got accurate info, and not in an educated guess way either. He confirmed the Hutton signing when the media said it wasn't happening, and countless others. Peanut nailed the VDV signing being processed in time before anyone else had confirmed it. POTL has got more right than he's got wrong, especially when it comes to starting line-ups and targets. JJ called Nelsen and a few others hours before they signed.
Most of it is passed on in good faith, and it all adds to the fun of the window. Some of it is probably exaggerated or misinformation given to them - others are probably pretty close to the horse's mouth.
Just enjoy it for what it is. I'd rather have some vague glimpse behind the transfer window curtain than feel totally in the dark.
ITK > ITD every time.
bastard! Why the question mark? Are you asking for permission to rep?
