Two cabbages, one big one small: Savoy and Brussel Sprout.

Turin, home of Juve is the capital of Savoy so big cabbage = Llorentes,

Brussel Sprout is Belgian, so little cabbage is Toby Alderweireld.

Same grocer equals same agency. Both FL and TA are signed to Mondial.

Simple!!! :)

What do I win?

And there goes the more logical guess than Mitrovic and Tielemens. Tielemens was a stretch before and I did say optimistic. Turns out everybody else wanted a straw to clutch at...

Still not convinced Llorente is a fit for us either. Used to big wages. No CL. Back up to Kane? Just doesn't make sense. Does make sense for the cryptic though!

I really fucking hate cryptics!
I'd rather wade through a thread of spam than nothing but guesses of various similarities. A cryptic thread could be a good idea, at least it'll keep the it'll this thread clear for itk chat. I'm not even sure that cryptic clues should be classed as either tbh.

Sorry. I'm tired and it's been a long, shit day!!

Llorente's on about €3.5m a year at Juve. Works out to under £50kpw, so I don't think wages will be a huge issue. Can't comment on the other bit about CL footy and being backup to Kane, but you never know. He's past his peak now, and perhaps he knows it. New challenge in the EPL might be something he's after.

Cabbage is the main ingredient in sauerkraut, and kraut sort of equates to cabbage.
The itk doesn't mention kraut or sauerkraut just cabbage

So why the leap to a German assumption? One could as easily assume Russian or Polish or wherever
