Thoughts are with all those caught up in tonight's problems in Tottenham.

Hopefully Llorente saw none of it.

I don't really see the fuss over Samba. Blackburn want over £10m for him which could easily be spent on a forward. If we sign a CB I'd prefer a more agile and technically good one.

Well given the fact there's a riot going on about a mile from the ground over at the High St. right now police cars are on fire? That'll make Llorente feel really good about a move...

Has it started raining yet? Where's this storm? Lass ain't the storm, surely?

I think that was more stadium related ITK, but as it was posted as ITK people assumed it was related to Real Madrid, due to there being a book about them called "The White Storm"

Has POTL actually said the Diarra deal is signed? did he say when it would be announced? I'm not knocking him, but why is his word taken as gospel?

POTL says the deal is done, his word is taken as gospel because he is definitely in the know.

Not sure if "Deal" means we've officially signed him, or that we've just agreed all terms and it's done pending a medical, either way he should be a Spurs player very soon.

Tuesday's been mentioned a few times, it should be done by then, take some salt with this post though

Well this is all very exciting isn't it, some of that made nice reading

If in the next few days we get diarra, llorente and samba, i think it would be a great window also selling hutton, palacios and hopefully keane and defoe or crouch.
I'm still holding out for a last minute rossi deal though :stupid:

I'm worried about peanuts comment, that didn't make as nice reading

Yeah that would be nice wouldn't it, looks like any striker move will be in the last week so tense times ahead.

what is the deal with the daily mail?

something that has been bugging me for while i must admit. i have just finsihed reading article about harry talking about bale and modric and how he cud sell them in morning but paper still saying modric cud be sold and how it was the presence really of bale that made all the differemce today. its like its aying modric makes no difference so they are going to sell him talk. pisses me right off.

it was actually luka's lovely ball over top for bale to run onto!! thats just a small example but at a time when the daily mail fails to report the fall out between nasri and wenger and the supposed injury freee fabregas refusing to play and making only passing comments comments about it , im just wondering as a club has their been a fall out with this news paper for some reason?

there s something in back of my head that says the daily mail and spurs as a club dont get on and there was a few incidents, no? it just seems to be a non letting up of negative shit stirring on spurs

Says the person with Rossi and Adebayor in his signature formation/team?!

I'm not expecting those deals to happen, just that would be my ideal team based on itk/rumours and the money we seemingly have available (we could buy one and loan the other). Signing just 1 striker would be a good window for me, but my signature team shows what I'd consider the perfect window.

Just read BEN's ITK about Modric. Almost brought a tear to my eye!

We're no longer a team with a most important player. We've got players that we'd miss but we've now finally got a few important players in the team/squad.

Now's our last chance to ensure that we keep hold of them!
We'll need a couple of players in that match (at least) the talents that we've got.
Maybe they don't have to be mega-stars, that's maybe the next step for us, this window we've got to look for talents the likes of Bale, Modders et al. (This is based on the theory that the aforementioned aren't classed in that bracket by too many outside Spurs).

Plus, they may well be more attainable.

Who cares who's best out of them? What's important is that they all play for us and imo make up the best midfield in the prem.

Yeah,if we bring in Diarra and get Sandro back from injury,if we add that to VDV,Bale,Lennon and Modric...........we should be damn decent.
We still need 1 or 2 pacey players in there............perhaps Townsend could be one of them and I would love a dynamic big guy in there as well.
