Ewww, sure he'd prefer a bhok choi and a baby bhok choi cabbage... much for classy.

As you can see, the answer is no.

A&C has always been clear that it'll only get explained when the source gives the ok.

Quick one, I kinda ruled out this Toby fella joining from JJ's ITK, but all the news points very heavily at him joining, whats the crack?

More of a smokescreen ITK, or further additional information since?

All in the TA thread mate. But it came to light yesterday why JJ was reluctant to commit either way on the speculation - contractual complications etc.

Obviously Levy made progress on that front, and whilst nothing is certain yet, it does look like we have a very reasonable chance of getting him - leaving Southampton and AM to sort out their differences.

Surely a buyout clause is only good if the player in question wants to join? Surely he can't be forced to move there just because the clubs have agreed a fee.

All very odd.

I wonder if TA signed something saying he would join permanently when he first went there on loan? If JJ said it was complicated then surely it can't be as simple as TA now telling Southampton he's not going to join them?

He couldn't of signed something to that affect without AM's input - they own his registration, so it wouldn't be binding. And nor would I expect any professional to do such a thing. There's a reason the buy out clause was put in the contract - pre agreed price. Also the fact that AM inserted this 1.5 million buy out option was to cover exactly what has happened - TA performing well and his market value being a lot higher than the pre agreed price.

Now we're after Roberts?
We're gonna win the league

U21 league this year and the premier league in 2020

tbf he is actually a decent prospect ....... but I do share, what I read to be, your perceived cynicism re way too much focus on the future and punts on youth as opposed to a balanced youth vrs experience transfer strategy

Villa lol. In saying that Ajax won the league in 2013/14 with kids.

With Roberts asking price being circa £10m, it's a lot to pay for someone who'll realistically go into the development squad. I hope he's earmarked as one for the future and not the forward/s we need to step straight into the 1st team squad.
