Can anyone say with a degree of surety, "When" we are likely to see deals go through, whether they be outbound or inbound?

I don't see anything happening before United which is a shame because it would have given us a positive feeling before the match.

I think you could well be a happy man then. As posted previously, if everything goes to plan don't expect any surprises.(y)

I'm still concerned that would leave us short if Kane got injured. Not short of numbers, but short of a CF that could lead the line. I'd be pleased if we signed Berahino, but we also need another number 9 imo.

Do you still stand by what you said earlier in the window Trix? That we are looking for a CM to add that offers experience In the bigger games...

Berahino, Njie and Bender would be a great window. Can't say I've ever seen this Njie play but if we are confident then I'm all for it, as long as we improve the starting XI then I'm happy

Positive.
Njie has the dynamism we've lacked of late, but I think we would need another Forward capable of playing centrally. From what I've read Njie plays there for Cameroon, but I'd be hesitant seeing him line up as our lone CF in the Prem at this point. I'm open to being proved wrong though.
Opinion - if Soldado drags on longer than expected, and Berahino ends up looking not likely (due to size of fee, or just leaving it too late), it'll be a late run for Austin as our backup No.9.
I could live with that, so long as we get our CM and WF also.
Trix saying Berahino and Njie is doable, I'd be happy, just hope we can agree fees etc.

The names I have heard that we are currently pursuing are all being widely discussed. There is another CM option if things don't pan out with the Germans but if I had to put money on it it would be N'Jie, Berahino, one of the Germans and that's your lot, unless we move a lot more out.

Thanks Trix for the updates, not forgetting Grey Fox and of course JJ too. It is much appreciated by many of us here.
Let's keep our fingers crossed these come off.

I'll go with that except I still think we have surprise up our sleeves

Well anything on top of that will be a very well received bonus mate. As long as we get the priorities addressed I think most will be very happy regarding this window.

Where's the 'That will do nicely' rating?

It's well documented that we only spend what we make from outgoings. Poch said in an interview last season that at spurs the reality is "there is no money to spend". He is right. That pretty much confirms it.
I like your confidence Trix, fills me with confidence

does your response to Trix there mean you have now dispensed your entire economic evaluation based on an interview with Poch,

double negative makes things about as clear as mud.

no, it wouldn't not, or yes it wouldn't wouldn't no?

Looks pretty clear to me...
Q) Would Adebayor not leaving affect our transfer plans?
A) No

I'm not seeing how that's a double negative, or even slightly confusing.

Well give it ten minutes, you'll read something from Utterfootballbollocks.com and be revert back to blind panic again. :D
Is Werner one of the germans you refer to? Or are we talking CM here? I assume if we get N'Jie and berahino we wont get Werner!

no, it wouldn't not, or yes it wouldn't wouldn't no?

Only way it would be a double negative would be if it said 'would Adebayor not going NOT affect our transfer plans'.

Could easily be reworded to 'if Ade falls through are incomings affected', to which JJ says no.
