I think Diarra is going to run a bit.

I'm more worried by the fact that Hutton, Keane et al dont look like they're going anywhere at the moment.

Rossi would be a ideal replacement for Defoe, just as Llorento would be the perfect upgrade on Crouch. So simple to write if only it was as easy to do.

honestly mate, I've heard a lot less this window (for one reason or another) hopefully I'll be hearing a lot more later on! No idea, that was pure assumption and I should've said as much! I just heard we don't particularly want to sell JD but Newcastle want him. All I know

Thanks, I'd expect us to be pushing him out the door with both hands, particularly if we were making any progress with our targets. :\

some additional info from Barnes Spurs on COYS:

correct yh i know a scout, not the scout we know on here :)

anyway little update i asked him if he had anymore information and he kept it short and precise

leandro will become a spurs player, not a matter of if but more when

also non related to spurs man city today have stepped up there pursuit of nasri today and are very confident of signing him that's it for now

:eek:mg: the club is already expecting to not bring in a striker?? or just one while keeping pav/crouch/defoe and if we landed Rossi he'd be the 2nd new striker and replace one of those?

Who knows?

Getting a new striker is easy-peasy. Getting a new striker who's appreciably better than the ones we have (however unsatisfactory they seem) isn't.

Agreed...

Zarate - Levazzi = Our options if we dont get Rossi

Llorente = if we cant get Adebayor

Ruiz = we missed out on Gervinho and Vucinic (wide playing/Front men)

This is all just my opinion, but from everything i've read, these are my conclusions.

And obviously, if we sell Wilson, then Diarra is a BIG step up.

Defoe has already pooh poohed going to Newcastle. He's not gonna change his mind. Unless he suddenly thinks "fuck London, maybe I'd be safer in Newcastle... don't want anyone looting my crib" or whatever.

Thought Rossi supposedly done the same...

It's interesting that we seemed to be in for

Rossi
Adebayor
Mata

but have not put any of our forwards up for sale. We could be overloaded if we don't get any out soon.

Yea, it's quite incredible how they're (Keane especially) still here. Thought Bentley would be gone also.

In regards to Diarra, I would think we wouldn't let Palacios go if we weren't going to land him, with him being our only DM with Sandro out for months. It's not official that he's gone yet but both deals seem to be very close to happening.

Can't believe we're going to start the season with the same strikers also, unbelievable.

I think JJ is a good proffesional. He might not be our best player, but he is certainly an asset. He talks a good game too, apparently

Not sure if anyone has said. But on Sky news they are saying police order all London clubs to call off games. What a fucking joke these fuckers need shooting.

According to police on sky news all london matches are to be called off so we may have one by start of the season

Sky reporters or the rioters? I'm happy with either.

I know this isn't ITK, but really, this aint a political thing. It aint even standing up for one of your own. Its a rough area given an excuse to absolutely run riot. The TV images show groups of (very) young kids lobbing bricks.. It's the holidays, no school, its fun, join in, cause some trouble.

I'm not even old, but I saw all this angry youth coming through as I left school. I dunno what's caused it, but all the stabbings, shootings, and murders - life on the streets has changed. It disgusts me. My only wish is for every normal person in those areas to be safe from these gang twats.
