Martial has clearly been the statement signing we've wanted all summer. He's the one Poch wants. We know he's been to the TG etc so I'm holding out a tiny bit of hope it can happen as I have all summer, especially because Alderweireld is wanted the other way.

Martial, Grealish and another proven top CM would make this window very nice indeed. We need a player of Martials ability to come in, whether at WF or CM.

Agreed, but the word proven is where you’re most likely be disappointed. I just hope people don’t confuse the words proven and good, because there are several examples in our squad where unproven has still made a very good instant impact.

Really didn’t see that coming. Dembele playing in the PL but not for us I find sort of depressing. If we sell him then we need two CMs and one has to be qulity.

I thought Dembele wanted a less demanding league to play in not sure I can bare the sight of him in another teams kit! Unless he returns to Fulham?

The ITK re Dembele makes absolutely no sense to me. Shipping him overseas while we could still get a fee made sense, but to a rival in England? With no time to pick up a genuine replacement? That is a crazy move from us that I just cannot get behind.
