I don't think it is that simple. Levy fought hard to keep Berbatov, Modric and Bale. Only relenting on two of them due to their contracts running down and the other one went for a world record fee that no club would turn down.
I believe Levy will fight again to keep Lloris in this case. There is no reason why he won't refuse to sell to a rival in Man U like he did Modric a few seasons back. And Lloris can't do anything about it.
Not saying its that simple, what I am saying is that its a possibility. To dismiss it completely is naive IMO.
Levy will do his best to try and keep him, or, secure as much as we can for him.
