Arsenal finish above us every year with that fucking clown Szczesny in goal. We got our highest points ever with tubby Friedel glued to the middle of the goal all season

Wise up and and stop fucking blubbing.
Blubbing? I'm literally laughing out loud thanks to your opinion.

Me wise up? Right! :ROFLMAO:

Are you the kind of bloke who doesn't complain if your coffee has a blob of phlegm in it?

Seems like it. You complain about the way we play more than anyone else on this site, but lap up our selling policy.

Yes we all know this is the reality of Spurs under Levy. Why should fans automatically be happy with it? I don't complain because there's a genuine alternative, I complain because of the lack of one.

If I wanted to support a well-run business I'd spend my time on an Apple forum. This is sport, and if you're not a serious competitor you're nothing at all.

I'm with @jair1970 on this one.

Lloris isn't our most important player, Bentaleb is, I'd be far more gutted if we didn't get his situation sorted out, than I will be if we sell Lloris for big fee. I'd be more gutted if we lost Vertonghen, Dier, Eriksen, Kane, Onomah, Winks, Pritchard or Edwards.

Hell, I'd even take Casillas, he's no where near the disaster the spanish media and the idiot Real fans think he is. He's a very good keeper who plays behind a 2/8 formation.

Literally every part of this post is funny.

Are you the kind of bloke that thinks there's a fucking pot of gold at the end of rainbows ?

I don't think Lloris is as important as you do, I think there are other players I'd be more upset about losing. Which part of that is so incomprehensibly difficult for you to understand ?

You also seem unable to grasp that this is a sport that is also a business and the two are intrinsically linked and both need to be managed well, whilst at the same and both facets have positive and negative ramifications for each other that are unavoidable. I have been critical of both facets.

Lloris is our one world class player. Saved our asses a bunch of times over the last 3 years having to deal with a shit back 4. He's the captain and was by far our most important player.

Sport is a business, especially football, and the only way to advance in football is to keep your best players while also taking risks and spending money to impove the quality of the product on and off the field.

Why should fans be happy about us being a well run but unsuccessful business? For a while now the club has existed to provide large salaries to players, employees and employers, with fans getting virtually nothing in return.

We all know that football is more of a business now than anything else but funnily enough that's not as far as ambition stretches for most football fans. A lot of people are deeply frustrated at the lack of success Spurs have had over the last few decades, and that fact goes well beyond how frugal the current owners happen to be.

Modric to Chelsea
The meltdown on here has been astonishing. I see nothing that makes today any different from yesterday in terms of our position, yet some act like we've already sold him. As someone put it- 'he's as good as gone'- He really isn't. United haven't made a bid, there's little indication we would be willing to sell, and they haven't even got rid of their Goalkeeper yet.

Some people really need to get a grip.

If he doesn't go this summer, this is merely setting up the conditions for him to leave next year. Either way, there is zero chance of him being here long term.

This is very similar to the Modric scenario with Chelsea, only Hugo isn't a whining little **** who runs to the media.

And apparently Winks is one of them :wacky:

Look at Utd after Schmeichael left. Replacing great goalkeepers is almost impossible. The net loss to our first XI would be huge
Lloris isn't Schmeichel though. Of course replacing the best keeper who's ever played in the premier league is a difficult task. They still managed well with Van Der Sar and De Gea though. There are a ton of quality keepers right now, so I don't think replacing Lloris would be all that difficult to be honest.

United were able to "manage well" with GKs who weren't named Schmeichel because, under Fergie, they usually had a fairly solid defence lined up. We don't have that defence.

This past season we regularly left Hugo in a situation to bail us out, if we lose Hugo we will struggle to find a keeper who can do the same thing on a regular basis (at least with the regularity that Hugo had to).

If we keep Hugo we obviously keep one of our best players, a captain and a world class talent. But in truth if we sold Hugo we would have to replace him AND get our back line to look like they have spoken to each other before.

Ye jest of course, i mean you do don't ya? If not then stay off the medication for a couple of weeks. Keep three unproven youngsters and sell perhaps the third best keeper in Europe, i mean you just couldn't make this shit up.

Funny how so many people keep saying there are alot of quality keepers out there meanwhile ITK says the club feels otherwise.

Again Levy entertain the idea of selling our best players for shit load of money. How to be in top 4 if we continue this path?

Maybe QIA takeover is the a good idea for the club.

Gimme Blackstone/BlackRock or Cain Hoy over QIA.

I really hope Lewis sells the club this summer. I really do. Im sick of selling our best players and taking multiple steps back almost every other year. Who knows maybe we'll strike gold and get an owner willing to invest to put this club back up top.

They were a few keepers on as well before VDS arrived, took them a while to get a really solid keeper

vorm was bought last season , knowing that he had one season as a number two , it was probably why he signed , why come from Swansea as a number one. I think last season was a see as we go from Hugo, maybe he was told give us one more last year, not this year. When he leaves he deserves all he gets , belongs in the champions league .
That's why we will never be in the champions league as we are a selling club .
All an assumption not what I know .
