But you can't. Strikers, more than anyone, need rhythm, continuity and confidence, and you can't make two first choice simultaneously.

We need someone prepared to play an ad hoc role - either an experienced guy winding down a good career or a very young guy willing to play cup and sub games.

And we already have Chadli who's perfect as a back up CF whilst also being able to play wide forward/AM.

Sounds like Lambert, Ballotelli, Ings and Sturridge are going to have a blazing season together then...............

Na he means, we've signed 3 - Wimmer, Trippier and Deli Alli and that Alli will be good, that's all I'm afraid.

Oh spare me, you know that isn't what I was saying so give it a rest.

I'm talking about people giving JJ shit on twitter cos they dont like the stuff he's tweeting. Or people constantly slating the club because they aren't happy we haven't signed a new player each week. You can back that up if you like but I don't buy in to the idea that people can just say what they want and then call it "having an opinion".
