We were after a second striker (Martinez/Vlahovic) even if Kane stayed, that eventually fell through so we went for Plan B which was Traore, we're now at the stage where we'll all going to be happy if we manage the Plan B as it's looking unlikely. I was hoping with Paratici and his "ten deals on the go at once" shtick that we'd have our options lined up if something proves "too difficult".

Exactly this, granted we've got til 11, and we may all be proved wrong and we will get what's required in, but me being "the most pessimistic poster" here, something tells me this places will be chaos at around 9pm tonight. We had not such a manic Monday, I just hope today doesn't turn out to be told you so Tuesday.

We need a real top quality central midfielder, tempo controlling creative player. Basically what Ndombele was supposed to be for us.

No? I'm not aware of Romario giving any ITK? DId I miss something? Was he passing off other people's stuff as his own info as well?

The 10 deals thing was straight from Ally's video and Ally made a big deal about it.

He did mention multiple deals or "plates spinning" A LOT.

It's MUCH easier to put one of the kids into the midfield (and we have decent ones) than it is to rely on Scarlett up front as our only striker if Kane's out.

I am shocked that we are signing a RB before we have sold another RB
Even if one leaves today this appears to be a new chapter for our transfer business (getting one in before selling) and it's very positive for the future

Both positions are weaknesses and I can't say I prefer one over the other. Hope we get both but will be happy if we get either tbh.

I think that came from a few different sources such as Ally Gold, and then Romario just latched on to it and made a huge deal of that aspect of Paratici's methods, which he naturally knew every detail of being Italian and all.

There seems to be far less concern about us getting our hands greasy with Mendes than there was a couple of months ago, that's for sure!

Shame is this is how we have to do business now, but maybe that's just where football is at. I don't like it though, and certainly wouldn't like it if the boot were ever to be on the other foot. Here's hoping it isn't.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia seems to be that name that refuses to go away with all of our reliable sources, he's got to be one of the "ten deals at once"

Not this again. I watched the game, Wolves could have scored at least twice from Traore assists but they fluffed the chances

I don't think we would do that though - Son would be moved to striker and Gil / Lucas / Stevie would come in. At the moment I don't even really feel like we have a top quality first choice partner for PEH. Dele and Skipp are both fine but I honestly don't see them as top four midfielders at the moment (Skipp maybe in a season or two).

Our forward line has a top quality first choice line up and a decent backup line up. I'm not sure our CM area even has a top quality first choice lineup, yet alone decent backup.

We are still working on traore it’s not dead but difficult it’s down to us to meet there high price ! Is he worth it ?
