Ignore the above.....We spend all year stating how it will be nice to have a quiet window where we only bring in a couple of players and let the TEAM grow together rather than a mass influx of players.....
Then deadline day gets closer and a lot of people don't have the balls to stick by their word and actually stick with what we have!!
We have made 3 signings who could all be regarded as guaranteed starters by this time next year (just like Ali....he was seen as work in progress for a few years, fast forward 3 months and he's a starter!)
Let's just see how it pans out! It's all a gamble even if you go and spend £300 mil
That's who the smart money is on.Please be Sissoko. Please please please.
must be, but I know fuck all so yeahIs it pretty much certain that if JJ is talking about a deal that is still ongoing that it will be Sissoko?
Can't say I find that too inspiring news.
Yes! My bingo card is complete, last thing just ticked off:
"We agreed terms with the player but couldn't do the deal"
Spurs Transfer Window Bingo is getting too easy
Maybe not Janwant to make a bet he wont?
leicester have paid out £70 million, utd, Chelsea and city 100+, arse 60, Everton 60+ Liverpool 60, palace 50Leicester apparently spending £30m on Slimani! LEICESTER!!!! And Gooners have been criticising Wenger, he's still shelled out £60 plus million for new players.
Ambitious? Our chairman? Proud of our club and wanting the best for it? With all the extra TV revenue and CL money?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Stoof fair point but it only needed a couple of tweaks to challenge again. More pace, more creativity. Eriksen, Son need a kick up the backsideOur first XI is stronger than last year. Just by fact of it being a year older having played together.
Seeing the bigger picture is not the same as being a happy clapper.
dembele for twoEriksen for one.
I am, I am!Now who's the happy clapper?
As ever both sides of the debate are being over-dramatic or over-defensive.
We have signed some players in good positions, we are light in other positions. Our squad isn't weaker and it isn't considerably stronger.
It doesn't mean that the club is a complete failure lacking ambition that is designed purely to upset people who love transfers. It doesn't mean that Levy has done everything right and is beyond reproach.
Those who love a transfer more than any actual football seem to be being more irritatingly childish at the moment but it's a very close run thing.
Can we all just try and be a bit more moderate/less stupid?
Guys get over it he is joining Everton. And at 30m I don't want him.Agree, i think he'll want CL football this year, which of course we can offer.
