JJ is clearly responding to someone saying it's disappointing that we haven't got pace and/or competition for our attacking players by saying 'yet'. This has nothing to do with sales.

Think he's having a bit of banter at everyone else is expense haha.

We can not sign anyone now sadly window is shut although we can sell to Spain.

Unless we have a deal extension in place which I doubt as it would have been leaked it's all over for us now.

Fucks sake, anti climax, same shit every year. 6/10 window.
Our squad is good BUT Sissoko, Lamela(if he ever plays again) and N'Koudu are NOT good enough back up attacking options to Son, Alli and Eriksen. Very, very disappointed we couldn't find an attacking midfielder to improve on them. IF Lamela can come back to fitness soon, that will go some way to helping as when he was on form, he was not far off our front 3. Oh well, it is what it is but we will get raped by RM and Dortmund with no Alli.
Jodie, thirdkit87 and charliemouse, why dislike?
Are you really happy we've been left with one of Sissoko or GKN to be starting against Real Madrid and Dortmund in the CL?
Stronger AM back up and RB after we sold Walker were the two areas we needed to strengthen and we only strengthened one of them otherwise we just improved areas we were already strong in, all be it with some good signings but really why settle for this, we are close to something good here and yet again we leave signings to the last minute and are then underwhelmed.

Not good enough, sorry.

If Lamela actually comes back then it's not the end of the world.

Doesn't seem like most of the other 7 deal sheets have been leaked though... not that i think any of them are ours...

Idiots in that case as they will get much less cash in Jan and zero cash for him in the summer....
Yeah in the meantime the player ruins any chance of playing at the world cup.

As I doubt Everton would deal in Jan if they won't now and probably won't sanction a loan either as all that would get them is five months saved on his wages.

Looking like a Peace/Berahino mk2 deal.

I wonder if JJ's latest tweet means that we have submitted a deal sheet for a transfer that is dependent on a fee dominos falling, with a Spanish buying club being a crucial piece in that jigsaw?

No, no it doesn't. He said we're done.

Watching those final posters still hoping for a twist in here is like the end of a college party, after all the interesting people have left, where there's just a few awkward blokes hoping one of the few pig ugly girls remaining is just drunk enough to take his virginity.

Lot of tension as usual in here on deadline day. I Always think you need to take a deep breath before reflecting.

Overall.....

Was gutted to lose Walker to close rivals but we replaced him with a player, possibly, at the same level, and for half the price.

We got a 3rd choice keeper that caused an unbelievable meltdown of negativity..........HE IS 3RD CHOICE! (Vidiprinter says THIRD)

We signed a couple of young centre backs who could be set as our future pairing for years to come which is fantastic forward planning considering the best defensive partnership in the country are both entering the 30 year-old mark in 12-24 months. One of these coveted by Barcelona, the other by PSG!

And whilst Llorente came out of the blue, he is a clever signing. A proven goalscorer, fantastic in the air, and who will give us an alternative when we can't play our way through teams on the ground.

I will also admit that I'm incredibly frustrated that we didn't get a player with real pace and some trickery. Martial was my dream signing this summer but it was always going to be a long shot.

I also think we are really going to regret not going in for Sessengon as we may not be able to compete for him next time around.
Sancho would also have been amazing but we did what we could (bar maybe insisting on him in the Walker deal!)

And the biggest disappointment was not getting Barkley, but I am now extremely confident he is waiting for us in January, and what a welcome he will receive after mugging off the chavs :notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:

I would give the window a solid 7.5/10 which is why I find it astonishing the amount of adults in here we have throwing their toys out of the pram.......Seriously, get a grip! We have had far worse windows! I know It's tough when ITKs get our hopes up as occurred last night with the promise of a pacy W/F, BUT, they all post in good faith and the golden rule as always is to 'TAKE IT WITH A PINCH OF SALT!'

So finally........thanks to @JJetset @Trix @Hercules @Gyid @Grey Fox Hertyid, Ali Z, Ben and all of the other ITKs for providing us with info that gives us, what feels like, a 3 month Christmas Eve! And thanks to @Rob @Archibald&Crooks @Stoof @Dougal @nicdic @talkshowhost86 @TaoistMonkey and all of the other staff who supply us with one of the best sites on t'internet!

It's been emotional ;)

Was convinced it was now or never for Ross, when it was clear we wouldn't move now and Chelsea came in he was ready to go there. Everything was set until he got a call from one of our boys and the deal was off.

I can't say this as fact but it has to have come from Poch or Levy IMO.

His agents aren't overly happy to say the least, but this to me shows just how much Ross wants us, and while it might not be the best news for now it shows an awful lot about the player and his desire to play for us.

Are you the pig ugly girl in this analogy?
