Made us wait as usual but successful window me thinks possibly could of done with an AM/WF but good none the less, although for some reason I still think theres a chance for 2 more.

It's just another typical spurs deadline day .... always lead to believe there's a chance of something fantastic then get the old just couldn't be done. It just sums us up

Another appalling window in my opinion.

We haven't strengthened we just replaced like for like

1 thing is for certain though and if the window ends like this Mr Pochettino will be severely disappointed with Daniel Levy and his stupid cheque book policies
That's complete and utter bollocks mate.

....no offence

In my book Sanchez is way stronger than any back up CB we previously had

Gomes, if it goes through, is a good extra creative option especially for champions league when dele is out

And llorente is a way superior back up to janssen

Pacey winger would have been good but it's not the end of the world and there is no doubt that we've strengthened

Sanchez (£40m), Foyth (£10m), Aurier (£23m), Llorente (£12m) and maybe one other is a great window! I am bowled over by the negativity. Transfer genius again from Levy spent circa £85m and recouped approx. £84m (KW £56m, Fazio £4m, Njie £6m, KW £18m). You cant deny the squad is much stronger than last year now.

Pretty much all ITK said that we haven't left anything late, all the groundwork has been done and it's probably all down to how the cards are dealt from now on.

JJ said that we "will get the pace" and Hercules suggested we had two lined up and if they fail we move on to Gray. So if nothing transpires it would appear that everything has gone wrong. Yet we haven't had a smidgen of ITK to suggest that yet. Maybe we are running to a very precise plan?

The Moura story is really odd, it went from Poch supposedly not rating him to us not being able to get a WP in time. Who on earth came up with this and what's it's purpose.

Re: work permits
The FA have a panel convened in the player registration offices at Wembley throughout deadline day to debate and grant/deny work permits in about 10 mins a go. If a club wants a player, the decision is pretty quick!

Re: Moura - would be interesting if he was signed less than 24 hours after Poch said he wasn't good enough for the Prem and he would prefer Di Maria (full article in the Moura/DiMaria player thread).

With aurier we can now play 3 at the back and have him as the outlet. Once rose is back - then we have both our wide with pace like last year.

Until then I'm still hoping...
