Pretty sure the SSN guy only ruled out Mahrez and Grey. Looked like he was going to say we're not signing a winger, but then he just ruled out those guys.

SSN is only good if we like what's being said. Other than it's shit.

But they didn't say we weren't signing a winger. They said they know of no link, and ruled out Mahrez and Gray - one of whom we knew wasn't happening and one of whom was met with unanimous disapproval on here last night. Nothing has changed with Sky's recent update.

According to the SSN reporter at the lane. The only deal we are still looking at is Gomes and it might only be a loan. Apparently we bid 25m for Grey early in the window. I would say at this point in the evening if there is not even a sniff of anyone it is too late to get anything done. I guess the whole international games thing hasn't helped the transfer day! Poor ole Arsenal, finally make a move but left it too late

Yep, normally at least one dead certain transfer falls through on deadline day for us. Looks like the same thing happened for Liverpool, Arsenal, City, and Barcelona.

I'm expecting Gomes and Llorente to be the end of our business, but anything else will be a surprising bonus.
