We are trying to get something done now if not a pre agreement for summer

Yep, i think the general feeling was why would they want to do a pre-contract.

My feeling on it is that it would be us doing this, thus enabling us to sell Modric for a fortune in the summer if he wants to move.

He's somehow generated that impression but actually he isn't.

He gets team news correct (because he's mates with Lennon) but he hasn't got anything transfer related correct for a long time.

Why is he still classed as ITK then?:shrug: Not knocking, just asking.

Oh, and does it mean he's got the Lennon to Malaga nonsense right?

as for Diarra story, I'm still not sure, because 'deal' is different case than 'deal done' , deal could mean bid accept and all things positive.

I thought the rule on this site wasn't to slate any ITK? - I understand POTL slating other ITK (which I don't condone) on COYS that doesn't enforce the same rules but surely we shouldn't sink to the same level?

Hasn't Harry said we accepted a big bid for Gio from Italy last summer but he wouldn't move. So this could actually be correct

To be fair Rob we did agree to sell Gio to Udinese, even Harry has said as much lately, Gio didn`t want to go there.

Assumingly it's because he's a ****. :wink:

But yes i find it quite funny that the club he wanted to join in the summer could well be missing out on CL next season due to us overtaking them in the league.

As I understand from reading the boards we did agree a fee with Udinese. GDS however had his mind set on a move to Sevilla, who offered about half of what Udinese were willing to pay.

So that's why we told Sevilla to do one and that's why GDS is still here.

I'm sorry, but I just don't understand this. Every window since VDV, an ITK has banged on about a last minute signing. This is surely shit, I'm sure Levy doesn't sit at his desk early in the window and decide that he's going to wait until the last minute to sign a player. VDV was a one-off, no doubt about it. Yes, Levy strives for the best possible deal, but the "last minute signing" suggests he waits until the last minute before putting a bid in for any player out there. Surely, he has a list of players that Redknapp has given him and he will search for the best possible deal for those players.

This last minute player you mention, ackie, are you saying it will be someone other than the ones you've mentioned?

And do you have an idea who it is?
