IMHO we wont get £5m for Pienaar. If we get £3m we'll have done alright. Though he is a quality squad player, who has much more to offer than he has shown so far. Unless we can vastly improve we would be silly to sell one of the only players capable of playing out wide in place of Lennon and Bale. Townsend going on loan suggests we'll be bringing someone in mind you.
Gio and Pienaar out would buy us Hoilett. Krankie and Pav could get us Dembele and we already have money banked for Damiao. Those 3 would put us in a fantastic position to challenge all the way to May. ( I say this having never really seen much of Damiao, just going on hearsay and his goal scoring record).

Been injured for most of the time, but performed reasonably well in the few chances he has been given, in a few positions, despite not being integrated into the team :shrug:

Seriously, I would love to know exactly what so many SCers problem's are with this guy, that they absolutely refused to give him a chance, and want to see an injury and some reasonable but not great performances as justification of such thorough dislike.
Wait-a-minute - there were certain SCers who were insistent that Bale and BAE were crap when they had only made a few appearances and then got injured, as well.
Ho-Hum.

Ok. was at villa today with my Tottenham source and a few others.
We spoke about lots of things.
1) Pienaar; I posted earlier today from Villa park and that information still stands and is solid.
2) No genuine contact from anyone for Kranjcar so far and it’s unlikely he would be sold anyway until the summer unless lots change. This is solid info. (also read on here that Kranjcar was suppose to be at Villa today. No he wasn’t. Not interested, couldn’t afford him anyway.)
3) Tottenham and Roma miles apart on Corluka fee. Again Solid info.

I expect to get hammered for this but here goes;

Now this is Rumour and it contradicts a lot of what I’ve been told before. BUT even though its only rumour it’s coming from good people.

Daniel Levy is going to go all out and try to sign Pato now that the deal with PSG has fallen through. Was told this all occurred in last few days. No matter where they’ve been looking, Pato is now the main focus and Daniel Levy’s personal goal to get him. Don’t know in and outs but definitely believed to be achievable and in Levy’s sights.

Also in general conversation we spoke about Capello rumour; love to know who Paul Smiths source is; its nowhere near right. From what we spoke Deschamps is number 1 choice if Harry goes and Harry knows this BUT Harry is definitely torn about England. Apparently Deschamps contract is up in summer to.

Like I said this is just information given in conversation, although with people held in high regard, and I expect to get hammered for saying it but in all serious this could turn out to be the best of bit of inside knowledge.

Tbh thou i dont wana put down ur ITK but didnt pato come out today and say he was not leaving milan he loves it there? and hasnt even heard from his agent or had an offer to leave in 4 years? and didnt the manager say pato was deffo not gona leave this january?

i had some info from my ITK today as well and he mentioned two striker names one was brazilian but was deffo not Pato

i am waiting for my info to be posted in the SCITK thread. i have sent it to admins but if it doesnt i will post it here :grin:

Pato would make an enormous statement. January is the worst time to sign players in terms of who is available and also the fee they demand, but we are at a point where we can go places, bring in a couple of 'special' players and suddenly a crack at the league won't be as stupid to talk about.

Pato has the potential to be incredible. Pace to burn, scores goals, skillful. Having seen Robinho and Ibrahimovich over the years its staggering how Pato is behind these two at Milan. His Pace maybe more suited to England. Pato in place of Lennon or VDV or Ade. Great cover. Great quality. But I cant see it happening unfortunately.

Thanks Journo, possibly in the future you should use the goat for big info, just pm a mod, otherwise as mentioned you may et stick off other guys or people dismiss your info, which most of us crave
