I've always thought Giovaniwould do well elsewhere. He just isnt cut out for England. Tehgame doesnt suit him, and he doesnt seem to have the determination to make a go off it.
Pav too would be a success in another league. Maybe in France, Germany or Holland. A slightly lesser league in terms of quality. Slower. He has shown flashes at Spurs but again doesnt seem to have the temperment for it.

Those two out and the arrival of Nilmar (if that offer is seriously on the table) would be enough for me over the next two days.

Attitude can make or break a player with talent, I'm guessing English lifestyle didn't suit him much either so that's 2 things against him. He's gotten away with it for far too long because he's got a trick or two about him, we all love a hanky ball player. It's a Spurs thing. Good luck to him, but good riddance please...and someone else in.

If Pav and Gio go and we get one or two in permanent to replace them I'd be delighted, priority is a striker though, no doubt.

Next 48hrs will tell a lot, I expect a flurry of itk...by fuck I hope something comes off.

Gio, Pav and Bassong all out and replaced would make my day. I have a dream.

Then you look at who plays the best, and by that i think he means most attractive, football out of the remaining teams and i'd say we're that team.

I just think that he wouldn't be saying those things if he was moving purely for the money, he seems very motivated by playing football, and we can offer him that more than anyone IMO.

Who plays the best football? Man City at times and definitely us but you would not say that about Chelsea or Manu

It doesn't really matter if we play the best football. I'm pretty sure if Man City want to pay him £200k per week he could justify it.

I'm sure we've got a chance like we did with Mata but when it comes down to it we just can't compete with the teams on wages.

Yea agreed. I think our best bet is that he sees City as a place where he's not guaranteed first team football and maybe that Chelsea don't make the CL also.

I'd like to think different but it's hard when we'd be offering what, 75k? With City offering 200k and Chelsea offering 140k or summin'.

A lot of the French press and Belgian media reckon it's Chelsea for Hazard. A lot of them claim there has been dialogue and when asked by Canal+ was it chelsea he was joining, he smiled.

Krul, Leandro and Hazard please Daniel

That would be one hell of a window...!!!

Want?
Likelihood?

Sorry lads, feeling a bit naff today, so the usual glass half full approach is a little lost on me this morning.

There's not a Morrison who plays for Norwich.

Who is this then claiming to be called Steve Morrison...used to be at millwall and before that Stevenage...also plays for Wales?

I expected it to be busier in here. Quite disappointed. I thought the mayhem would help me through this awful Monday.
Giovani out. Pav out. Striker in. PLEASE

Same here - hopefully we see one (or more) or those moves today, or some good ITK, then I'd expect the chaos to begin

following opensaysme's mate's text, i'm expecting Bassong to go & Vertongen in (providing he will come & we can sort in time - like Cahill last summer).

We seem to have had "decent" offers for Gio (Nilmar in exchange?) and Pav, so we just need to convince them to fuck off and not sit around collecting their huge salaries.
