I've always thought Giovaniwould do well elsewhere. He just isnt cut out for England. Tehgame doesnt suit him, and he doesnt seem to have the determination to make a go off it.
Pav too would be a success in another league. Maybe in France, Germany or Holland. A slightly lesser league in terms of quality. Slower. He has shown flashes at Spurs but again doesnt seem to have the temperment for it.
Those two out and the arrival of Nilmar (if that offer is seriously on the table) would be enough for me over the next two days.
Attitude can make or break a player with talent, I'm guessing English lifestyle didn't suit him much either so that's 2 things against him. He's gotten away with it for far too long because he's got a trick or two about him, we all love a hanky ball player. It's a Spurs thing. Good luck to him, but good riddance please...and someone else in.
If Pav and Gio go and we get one or two in permanent to replace them I'd be delighted, priority is a striker though, no doubt.
Next 48hrs will tell a lot, I expect a flurry of itk...by fuck I hope something comes off.
Gio, Pav and Bassong all out and replaced would make my day. I have a dream.
